Any new subwoofers from yamaha recently? Looking around for one.
Hello
Do you have any Atmos AVR or processor that has preout for every channel?
Basically my speakers are all powered by their respective power amplifiers, i only need the processor function to decode and sort the signal into front, back, rear, sub, ceiling, etc...
How much does it cost roughly?
I remember i've seen yahama with that functions some years back. but it was on a 7.1
Hi yamaha,
I have this issue with the eshop where I get this enets error when I try to checkout. I've tried calling in for the past 4 days without success, sent an email enquiry in, sent a Facebook message but NO ONE replies me. I hope this is the avenue in which you can enlighten me.
Anyway, the promo ends at 13 March, and if I don't get to purchase it, well, I think you're not only just losing out a customer, but serious questioning as regards to your customer service.
Please assist!

I have this same issue with this youtube uploader. My Rx 467 behave weird somewhere in 2014. I got in 2012. Power button is not working and the surround keeps jumping.
You have any experience on this?
Thanks!
After resetting, it does wipe off all stored settings and the problem I had. Have been testing it for a few hours (Tested with FM Radio) without the seeing the issues. But unfortunately once I switch to HDMI with my WD TV Live, the problem comes back with 10 minutes. I am suspecting some HDMI signal interfacing issues.
Is there something can be done?
hi yamahasg,
i need help to setup/configure my home audio for tv.
current setup: i have starhub tv box, yamaha YHT401 + the woofer, LG 55" smart tv. starhub tv box is connected to the woofer via HDMI, woofer connected to tv via HDMI, woofer connect to sound bar via 6 colored wires. nothing from soundbar to tv.
problem: everytime i want to watch tv, i have to turn on everything including woofer, tv, starhub tv box. sound from the starhub tv channels are coming out from the woofer and soundbar - perfect. however, if i turn off the tv, i can still hear sound from the woofer and soundbar! and if i stream youtube via LG smart tv, i can't get any sound to come out from the woofer and soundbar at all.
ideal setup: i hope to achieve the setup where i am able to hear sound from the soundbar when im watching tv or streaming youtube via LG smart tv, but only when i have the 'feel' then i turn on the woofer to get the booming effect. in short, i can save power but keeping the woofer off most of the time. is this possible?
unfortunately, i am not an audio expert. all i remember is that the LG tv has 3 color holes at the back, a few HDMI ports with 1 marked with 'ARC'.
please advise.
Thanks!
Hi Yamahasg,
for Yamaha YSP 2500 is the subwoofer position must be on side?
what if put it at corner behind?
is it ok to put the subwoofer behind for general brand of sound bar?
thanks.
Edit: for example in position "A" below

Hi! Yamahasg, I'm looking for good sound bar and I'm interested in buying the YSP1600 which is currently on sale by yamaha sg. Before I buy this sound bar, I would like to know why is it the Univolume feature omitted from this model? I will use this sound bar mainly for TV and this Univolume feature is very important to me. Do you think this YSP1600 has similar features as Univolume which is not listed in the manual?
when is HS5 White coming back?
