Do you have any Dolby atmos AV for 5.1.2 only

Looking to upgrade my system however I can't get anything higher than 5.1.2

Hi Light!

My apologies for the slow respond.

Yes we do have on our new range of 81 series for receiver. RX-V581 would be the starting range for 5.1.2 setup for you, equipped with dts:x wifi etc.

you can read the reviews here: http://www.whathifi.com/yamaha/rx-v581/review

Recommend me a 2.1 speaker with receiver to replace soundbar.

Hi Yamaha,

What the different between Rx-v381 and RX-V581 receiver?

Is RX-V581 had a better sound then RX-V381 in 2.1 speaker setup, to watch youtube or bluray disc in Dolby HD or DTS HD 5.1 or 7.1 sound track downmix to stereo?

Is NS-BP300 a good choice of speaker setup with subwoofer like YST-SW015 if already out of stock then NS-SW200? Or need a full range of tall speaker instead of book shelf speaker as I listen to music like youtube singing competition or movie, subwoofer is really needed or just a 2.0 speaker setup is good enough?

For the receiver, I just want to know what the different between AVENTAGE A50 Series and slim line compare to RX-Vx81 series for the receiver? So best choice for me is still RX-Vx81 series like the RX-V581?

I have a Philips B5 soundbar but used after a few months the bass and woofer become less sound poorer and more nosier less clear sound. Does not have fuller sound to fill up my living room in 5A room HDB flat.

Hi Hive,

- RX-V381 is our entry receiver supporting 70W/Chn, BT,HD audio and 5.1 comparing RX-V581 which is 80W/Chn, with addition of network feature and DSD playback.

- RX-V581 naturally will provide a better sound stage and detail due to the amplification, even on a 2.1 setup

- NS-BP300 is our entry level bookshelf speakers to begin your stereo, with you mostly on youtube video movie/music. 2.1 is recommended but its your choice & you can start off with 2.0 and always add another subwoofer later if you find your bass is lacking.

- AVENTAGE series is our premium series of with quality build and signature design, you can take a look at new entry AVENTAGE RX-A660 which is the same feature as RX-V581.

Having said all these specs and building, i highly recommend could you some time dropby our showroom to test the receiver and speakers setup. Cos buying audio is something you have listen & feel. :)

Have a nice day ahead!

But the Bookshelf speaker NS-333 is it the same price as Np-BP300 of S$399 a pair? What the different between both of them?

I am not looking at bookshelf speaker as shown in web site NS-B951, NS-B901 and Soavo-900M as those are high end speaker a pair cost over 2K right too costly?

How about NS-B500 mid range bookshelf speaker that cost S$699 now right compare with as you said entry level bookshelf speaker like NS-BP300? Pair with this mid range subwoofer NS-SW200 S$499 and RX-V581 receiver S$849?

I looking for a budget about 2k. no need surround and center speaker as can buy later on if I want. I did not look at floor stand speakers as maybe too powerful too big not easily to sweep mop the floor as I put all speaker and receiver at the top of TV console except subwoofer too big to be on the floor.

I may drop by your showroom this weekend afternoon at plaza singapura level 6 to hear it and next time consider to buy it hope you can give me best price.

Hi Bro,

But the Bookshelf speaker NS-333 is it the same price as Np-BP300 of S$399 a pair? What the different between both of them?

1.) Yes, Both of them are at the same price. I would said characteristic will sound different from both of them.

I am not looking at bookshelf speaker as shown in web site NS-B951, NS-B901 and Soavo-900M as those are high end speaker a pair cost over 2K right too costly?

1.) I would still said the same thing, "characteristic". Got no problem using the subwoofer SW200 with V581.

1.) Be it from small to big speakers, we are not talking about the powerful sounding. We are asking for "Quality". If you have space constrain, you can only compromise here and there.

1.) Sure! But, i only have the display on RX-A660 above series. And also, the speakers that i have on display is NS-B500 for 5.1 setup & NS-BP300 2.0. Be our Yamaha Member, definitely you will get some discount.

Thank you!

You can head down to our showroom @ plaza to seek for advice.

Hi Yamaha,

I went down On last Sat 23 July 2016 about 6pm to your plaza singapura yamaha showroom at level 6, disappointed by your poor customer service.

There is a young staff only one person as he is very busy with a man who asked a lot of question about this house renovation how to do wiring wall mount to make it neatly on the featured wall for the all in one flat speaker like a sound bar or sound projector displayed. We overhead it and thinking why not get the product catalog ask his contractor or interior designer about it instead of hogging him for a long time. There are some customer who come into your showroom see see look look take your catalog and walk away without any assistance.

My family went out to the cashier to ask if there is any staff can help us but she said no one is available. Then shortly after we left your showroom as we still saw that same guy still hogging to him asking about other stuff or speaker which our family think he do not know what he want and this type of customer ask a lot of out of scope questions which your staff may not know how to answer end up not buying anything in the end.

Next weekend we will go to other shop to look at other brand of speakers as I know roughly what to buy and test the sound quality may not be yamaha brand for receiver and speakers. At least a shop who can provide customer service instead of your staff too busy totally ignore us did not come and ask if we need help.

Regards

Hi Yamaha,

I have a LSX-170 speaker and im encountering issues with it.

First issue is that the speaker will suddenly stop playing audio, this happens once every few days and the power led is on. Turning it on and off does not fix it and i have to wait an hour or less till the audio resumes.

Second issue is occasionally when listening the audio volume will start fluctuating.

Im using a wired connection and have tried several different cables, these problems also affect bluetooth. Do you have any solutions or am i able to bring it in for warranty?

Cheers,
Leonard

Hi I was looking for yas 105 and went o an audio shop who told me they are out of stock and waiting for new model. Went online and found this model yas 106. May I know if this newer model will be coming to sg? If so when might it be release roughly and what's the difference compare to 105 other than the HDMI input??
