Hi,

YSP2200 does not have the AM/FM tuner function. Can YSP2200 support normal stereo receiver or it is must to get AV receiver?

Heard that Yamaha FM tuner has discontinue and will there be a new model coming? Or anyone know where can I get FM tuner?

YSP-2200 cannot be connected with external receiver.

Do you use iOS device like iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad?

Tuner will not be available in Singapore.

If you really keen, i try asking around for you.

Not sure if anyone has asked before...

Q1: For DSP and YHTs, does the HDMI output pass through the AV signal from the last used HDMI input even when it is powered off?

To put it in another way - can we save electricity and have the audio come out of the TV's speakers with the DSP/YHT turned off?

Q2: For UniVolume feature, does it work well with HD5 and other Starhub channels?

HD5 is much louder, and I always need to mash the volume down button several times on the TV remote

Currently we do not have any firm date yet.

Would strongly recommend you to place order with any of our retailers first as there's quite a number of orders now awaiting for next shipment.

We are looking at somewhere in Jan 2011 to receive. Unable to advise further for now.

Our V571 is retailing at $799.

It is impossible to get one at the price you mentioned.

At the same time to answer your query about Upscaling feature, only V571 and above supports Upscaling.

If they do so, they are taking lower margin.

They can also opt not to sell at that price. Not up to us to tell them to sell at $699. Officially should be $799.

RX-V571 retailing at $799. Impossible to get it below $550.

None of Yamaha models falls below $550 to get Upscaling features.

In fact, Standard BD players can do upscaling. Why not consider other models below $550?

Q1. You can opt to turn on the HDMI Control function so you can switch the AVR or YSP sets to Standby Mode, while the Video and Audio will be via the TV directly.

In this way you can save Electricity. Eco-Functions are available in Yamaha Products.

Q2. It will works well.
