Like the others have said, any usb will fit though it will be loose.
Do note that the USB head orientation for phone and station is reversed and don't force it in.

Somehow it's sync to the default notification ringtone, which pretty much is used for everything else... I didn't mean a custom ringtone for every single contact, but something like sms notification uses ringtone A and notification for apps like when you turn on Asus Power Saver uses ringtone B, etc...
go the message, then go settings, under notification there is message ringtone. go change that. TW Jb user here.

Take it out of the Padstation if you keep it docked.
Did you enable USB debugging? You might be able to connect it to a computer and issue adb commands to shut it down or reboot.
Otherwise, you can wait for it to run out of power and it will shut down.

Also, report your issue here ASUS eSupport Sub Forum and they might have more ideas to resolve the issue.

Yes, that is one of the two places where we can change the text notification ringtone. The issue I faced was that there is no way to select a different ringtone for A. "Text-only (SMS) notification" and B. "default (all others) notification". Thanks for trying though (no sarcasm intended) :)

I do get the differnt ringtone for my msg, email n watsapp all those leh.

There are 5 different choices under the Sound>Notifications settings. They are:
  1. New Text
  2. New Mail
  3. Sent Mail
  4. Calendar Alerts
  5. Default Alarm

They work for the respective stock apps corresponding to each individual category. Whatsapp is classified under 3rd party apps, so they will have their own separated settings as well. What I'm speaking of is the most general or default setting for all notification that are not classified under one of those 5 listed above or for 3rd party apps, maybe the developer didn't specify a default ringtone for them.

For example, try turning on the Smart Saving/Power Saver and you will noticed that the notification ringtone will be the same as the "New Text" notification ringtone. Or for 3rd party app, try launching AirDroid and connect to the WiFi. The same "New Text" notification ringtone will sound.

I can't remember this very well, but I believed that when I'm still on ICS TW firmware, there should be this setting call "Default Notifications" under the sound settings and the "New Text" notification is separated from it. Well, I wouldn't want to downgrade my firmware just to check it.. but it will be great if there is a way to change the default notification ringtone in future update though :o

for starhub, platinum members can do one to one exchange but if not platinum, probably can try by throwing a fuss. at asus, more likely that they will take in for repairs which could take who knows how long.

Try going to this website via your tablet and run the program there. If it's just a struck pixel issue you might be able to solve the error. If it's a dead pixel issue though then you have no choice but to go down to the Asus service center :(
