yes, the wifi thingy is super annoying.
The GPS and wifi problems sounded so much like those on the Asus Transformer Prime....
Sorry for sounding like a noob.. But was that problem solved by an OTA or do they need some other hardware accessory to go along with it..?

theres something i wanna ask. i got my padfone 2 from challenger, its without a contract. but the phone has all those starhub crap apps that cannot be uninstalled. could it be a starhub set they sold to me? anyone knows if the non contract versions suppose to have no starhub crap apps. thanks in advance

Anyone experiencing GPS issues? Couldn't hold a steady GPS lock in both phone and tablet mode. (Tablet ode is worst though.)
My set is from PC dreams bought during the IT show.
It has starhub stuff inside also.
I guess all sets were brought in by starhub den distributed from there.
Don't know why it is like that, but they are the exclusive telco for the padfone
Or maybe Asus follow HTC, where the preloaded apps show differently depending on sim card used?
Oh well.....anyway now jellybean can disable apps without root, so just use that function lor.nope.. u can factory reset without sim card and it will still show the preloaded starhub apps
Bought mine from South Asia Computer at Funan. Managed to get the last second set. Hahaha.
Got mine off contract as well. Came with all those bloatware. Guess it was factory preloaded?
