Then u sld wack the 2TB.I just changed the ssd to 1tb, initially i thought clone disk will do the trick so that i wont have to start over the game installation, drivers etc. but only realized the original ssd has bitlocker encrypted. the cloned ssd wont boot up.
after some research i put back the original ssd, decrypt it and clone again, now it works
512GB really not enough, slowly i will think 1TB wont be enough as well
yeah, Bitlocker step is most annoying. I almost forgot that step too. Its a gaming handheld... don't think I need to be so strict with security. no personal info, games only.I just changed the ssd to 1tb, initially i thought clone disk will do the trick so that i wont have to start over the game installation, drivers etc. but only realized the original ssd has bitlocker encrypted. the cloned ssd wont boot up.

Is rog ally available in store now or only pre order?
the thing is, if u dont decrypt the original ssd, u wont be able to access the file inside even if it's in a m.2 enclosure, u will need a key in order to access.yeah, Bitlocker step is most annoying. The problem is if you clone your ssd from day 1 (which I did OOTB), you won’t need to go through all this hassle. Plus u get to have the original ssd in “pristine condition” for future restoration or resale.the thing is, if u dont decrypt the original ssd, u wont be able to access the file inside even if it's in a m.2 enclosure, u will need a key in order to access.
