Hi guys, I'm thinking to buy ROG ally but being push back by SD card problem. I don't want to buy a expensive product with known spoil issue. I don't want to upgrade ssd either cuz 2 TB is over 200$. I easily used up 1tb as I have a lot of games. Current stock in singapore, does it still have SD card issue? Anyone uses the SD card on ally?

I have been trying to find a solution to play Ally comfortably while lying on the Bed.
I tried lying side ways, lifting the ally up above my face.. both are tiring and uncomfortable
I even thought of getting an AR Glass with a small OLED screen but its too expensive.

So i found a solution, a Lazy Glass (90 degree glasses) that's like $10...
I can lie down all the way, place my ally on top of my belly and play.

Image through the glass is clear, there is no latency.

I also don't get any headache using this glass. I just played for hours.

I have achieved peak laziness, I am never waking up during weekends.

It does solve the headache eye strain issue but introduced hand ache since I'll have to hold up the Ally for a long time. So end up not using the glasses as much. However, I have another way to play on the bed which is just to get a mini projector and project it onto the white ceiling and use wireless controller to play

i have the first gen ally and the short batt is a known shortcoming (ally x has a big improvement on this i heard). only buy if u are really going to use it regularly like commutes to and from work/sch.

all in one machine. its a window after all. can play elder ring, cities skyline 2, Microsoft flight simulator with decent quality. can also stream from ps5 consoles and watch movies etc.

for first Gen, better use near power outlet due to low capacity battery. it will hardly last an hour if playing AAA games. its something i will bring oversea but not so much for daily commute to work/sch.
