for those who use this laptop, is there a way to take out the battery? cause i just got this laptop and i realize the battery is not easily taken out. And normally i use my laptop straight from the power adapter, not sure whether this will spoil the battery in the long run.

Irritating high pitched buzzing sound

Hi all, bought a zenbook UX305ca a few days ago. I recently noticed a high pitched buzzing sound coming out from somewhere near the center of the keyboard area. Although not very loud, the noise can get irritating esp when working in a quiet air con environment. Anyone experienced this issue too, and is there a fix for it?

UX305ca is a problematic model that should be avoided. But since u bought go send for exchange

Yes.... it will play back Youtube 4K videos smoothly... I tried myself... I bought the first generation UX305.

Thanks. Already took the plunge and bought the UX305FA from Qoo10 with 8GB 256GB SSD Core M 1.2ghz from Qoo10 in Nov.

Paid $464 for a refurbished set after coupons and discounts. Great deal I must say. Set was in almost BN condition.

It plays back 4k Youtube smoothly but not in Chrome, as it calls up VP9 videos. Edge and FF are OK. Good stuff.

Seems good for your case. My "factory refreshed" UX305UA wasn't that great. The screen isn't aligned properly. 1 side has more "black border" than the other. It wobbles a little when places on a flat surface(1 of the corner is higher than the other). Bought it back around Aug 2016.
