Hi, my kit dropped my zenfone 2 (551 4gb ram version) and badly cracked the upper half of the screen :-(

Where can I find people/shop for screen replacement, and how much it costs?

Asus Repair Centre. It will cost you about $100 and it's the same price as any 3rd party shop but Asus gives you 3 months warranty.

upset ... I have a second-hand Asus Zenfone 2, was in working condition. Barely used it 3 times, now it is stuck at the boot-up screen and two handphone repair shops have told me that it can't be repaired. :(

I booted up my ZE551ML after putting in my drawer for a month (using ZOOM now). The phone went through 2 system updates. After that I checked, it's still 5.0.

Guess my turn is not up yet. Hehe.

Gt a very irritating bug on 6.0.1. Make outgoing or incoming call, lets say call already through to the other party, then you want to loudspeaker, the moment u get it off from your ear, the screen goes black, need to press power button twice for screen to appear. Or u wan to end call, get off from ear screen also turn off...damn irritating.

Suggest you report it directly to Asus Zentalk forums so they can fix it by the time the official release is out.

Thanks for the info

To be exact, it's $150 for screen crack replacement and it takes approx 5 days. Info from Asus Service Centre Capitol Piazza.

The Repair Hospital @ Suntec does it for $98 and takes 3 hours with 1 month warranty.

Cheap and good for the price if you can get bah. Only thing lousy is the photos/vid etc. Alright if u not fussy with that

Sent from nowhere using GAGT

Selfie ZD551KL was released in Aug 2015, and ZE551ML (4GB) was released in Mar 2015. I called a local shop and was told that the Selfie model already EOL. Is it still worth getting the ZE551ML (4GB)?

I'm looking at finding a replacement Android phone, experienced Zenfone users pls advise. :s12:

It depends on what you're looking for. A flagship, a midranger or an entry level?

I believe the the original Zenfone 2 is also EOL but is still a powerhouse with 4GB RAM outspeeding most current midrangers. But due to lack of updates, battery life is not that fantastic for heavy users and lasts at most 4 hours.
