realistically speaking ... physical picture quality - really nothing beats / come close to L1020 ... but that is another story ...

what is more interesting ... during the presentation, they kept insisting INTEL is so "good" / beat competition, etc ...

but why in the real world / least in forumn (local n overseas) there is so much "Hate" for Intel processor & also MediaTek" ? is Intel processor & MediaTek really that "bad" ? - just curious

like Snapdragon is like "the Holy Grail - even though it is so hot that it can toast your eggs

A lot of apps are also not Intel optimized.

Preferred the Pureview808 to Lumia1020.

But for the common man smartphone camera, the iPhone is still to beat.
Of course I wasn't expecting iPhone quality for the Zenfone2, but the sensor choice... no thank you. The photos are not exactly leaps and bounds better than the old Zenfone 5 either.

just to clarify, htc one m9 and zenfone 2 are using different toshiba sensors

one m9 uses 1/2.4 inch sensor named T4KA7, 20MP

zenfone 2 (higher end models) camera is 13MP

Toshiba sensors in general, are unrefined, lousy dynamic range, and noisy. I see the same problem in the One M9.

one key app that i cant use on ZF5 is Nokia Here Maps (offline) ... i really very keen to check from the ZF2 new buyers if this problem still persist...

everything quite sharp, except for the guy in black shirt

manual mode, shutter speed 1/125
ISO310
benefits of manual shutter speed control, no one is blurry, but photo is more noisy, due to higher ISO

tried to set an optimum shutter speed, could only choose between 1/60 or 1/125. Can set slower than 1/60 or faster than 1/125, but those are more for specialised situations

a pity the autofocus is a little slow...

Connectivity

The Zenfone 2 ZE551ML is well stocked on connectivity options. First off, there's quad-band 2G/GPRS/EDGE on both SIM cards and that's where the second card is capped. SIM 1 also gets quad-band 3G and a multitude of LTE bands, which are region dependent.
