Just got my CKS99i from stereo Really Love it. Just to share,was looking for my westone 1 replacement then I tested Shure SE215 LTD,JVC FTX90, UE900 but only this CKS99i that give me "Wow" impressions to my listening choices. Thanks to Stereo to give me the recommendation.

IMHO I am a newbie,(All tested using same song and volume)
Shure SE215 LTD Good bass, but mid and low wise not balance. The sound too warm for me but I really like the fit but westone IEM fit still the best.(Came from westone, honestly this one feel dull)

UE900, This one i feel lack in most bass,mid and low.(Totally not my type)

FTX90, Love the clarity with good mid and low. But I feel the bass just not enough.(Almost end up purchase this).

Then this CKS99 I feel the bass more punchy but mid and low still good and clear as FTX90. This CKS99 what I found have a signature sound that makes me want to listen a song that usually I don't listen .
But I still do hope they will build IEM fit like westone. But for the price of CKS99, I feel very worthed.
If got more money will buy Westone 4R (I Itchy hand tested it and blown away with the sound, but the price not for my budget LOL )

Westone 1 vs CKS99 :
- Seperation and clarity (Westone 1 Win)
- Bass (CKS99 Win)
- High Bass (CKS99), on some song Westone 1 bass distort.
- Sound Signature (Draw)
- Ear Fit (Westone 1 Win), Wearing westone 1 IEM feel like not wearing earpiece Damn Comfort!

Music I listen like MatchboxTwenty,Bob Marley,Adele,King Of convenience.

@yellow_bird_fly: I'm sry to disappoint you but this ATH meet will most likely only be held in the evening on that day, if it ever happens. I will be able to leave my wrk earlier on that day since I have off to claim, but the earliest I can meet up with the rest is only after 5pm, latest perhaps 6pm?

@LBBEF: This is not an open headphone meet like what the others like alamakazam usually organise over at the other thread, since I would like to sincerely keep this meet mostly ATH-oriented, so I think this event belongs on this thread so there's no actual need to start another new one. Besides my co-organiser is MIA right now, I need to get in touch with him after he finishes his ICT then I can give u guys more confirmed details abt the outing.

I do have a few places in mind right now, but they are not private function rms, just some cafes with relatively quiet ambience so I've made plans to check it out/recce the venues, on Thur/Fri night so I shd be able to give u guys some details after Fri this week.

I'm unfamilar with the Vr-zone community, so I doubt I will be posting a thread there. But I may post a dedicated thread on Head-fi's Member Lounge area, to let SG head-fiers who lurk there know more abt this local meet, once I have the confirmed details on the date/venue everything.

@paul02: Thks for the suggestion bro. I'm okay with anyone willing to pop by with their non-ATH gears actually, but this meet is mostly created for and by ATH owners, so I think there's no need to start another dedicated thread for this. Do kindly add yrself to the list if u're interested to turn up!
