This is my 2nd pair. Regretted selling my first pair.
There are still stocks online. Cheaper than Sg MSRP by a little.

I thought the CK100 no more in production already?
Replaced by CK100Pro.

Only saw eBay seller in HK still selling CK100 new old stock

Yeap eBay nos. There are still quite a few I think. Warranty by HK Ath.

I did ask them, they received NOS from Ath Hk few weeks ago. I think ATH HK still have more NOS.

Ck100pro also not in production anymore I think.

The CK100PRO's are indeed the direct successor to CK100, and has been discontinued by ATH shortly a few days prior to the announcement of the IM balanced armature series, I still vaguely remember abt this. According to what I understand, still got remaining stocks in certain parts of Hong Kong/Taiwan, in fact if my memory serves me correctly Randius did shared with me before personally that in one of his previous HK trips he actually found a shop still retailing brand new pairs of CK100. So despite it been EOL-ed, yes there are still stocks lying ard on eBay and certain parts of the world.

AT335i Audio Technica

AT335i iPod/iPhone Headphone Adapter

Want to use it for my ath-m50 and kipsch s4 on my samsung tab pro 10.1 tablet.

or something similar that works for android?

I usually have an Sony SBH-52 bluetooth but that headphone adapter cable with a mic can come in handy.

Does anyone know the difference between the IM70 and IM50? I have read a few conflicting comments on forums. One says the IM50 has more bass than IM70 and another says the opposite. I tried the IM70 before and felt it had decent sound quality except that the treble extension could be better. I would not mind less bass, so the IM50 might be the answer.

Thanks

Just to check, those using IM50 or IM70, what tips do you use? I find the stock tips abit painful for long hours and the comply seem difficult to stuff in. Any recommendation? thanks.

Everyone can share their opinions between the IM70 and IM50 but due to difference in individual preferences, it's quite common to get conflicting comments. Best solution is to read with a pinch of salt, audition them yourself. Let your ears decide which model suits your taste better. IM70 cost more but may not be the best choice and/or value for $$ model compared with the IM50.;)

The comply T500 foam tips should fit. Check out the video below which includes installing the comply tips on to your earphones and inserting the tips in your ear canals. Hope that helps:)

Audio-technica's range of IM series IEMs offers their bundled Comply tips in the form of T-500 sizes, as mentioned by Stereo staffs. If you want slightly more comfort/better sound than the normal Comply T series, u may try the following TS-500 series as many Head-fiers including myself prefers over the normal T series. The shape of the tips is molded more like a normal silicone tips w/o sacrificing much in terms of SQ, but comfort/isolation is of course improved over normal silicone tips.

Personally for me in terms of comfort/isolation, I only use both the Comply TS-500 series and the JVC EP-FX6M which can only be procured from JP online sites. You can actually see the JVC foamies tips being attached on my CK100PRO model if you check out my prev IM02 brief impressions post, I always use them permanently on my CK100PRO these days but they do work finely with all IM series as well since I own the IM02's personally.

The JVC EP-FX6M is able to fit nozzle sizes from 5 - 5.5mm onwards. (which is the common diameter size for all IM series nozzle's from what I understand) Hope the above info helps.

Yes, we do have the stocks in both stores. Do let the staff/s know on how you think about them and you can tell them your requirements so they can help and recommend accordingly. See you, bro! :)

I am looking for CKR9. Has anyone seen them sold at the airport?

Also, Amazon.jp now sells it for 17,040 yen (or S$200). Anyone bought it using Tenso?

Tenso uses EMS to shop, and after shipping cost may as well get locally with warranty.

Frankly imho there's no point in hooting the ATH-CKR9/CKR10 models via overseas sources like from JP. I have already calculated the norm selling prices from Kakaku.com awhile back for these 2 models, and u only save at the most 30-40 dollars max even if hooting from the cheapest shop there unless you happen to be physically there for a vacation trip. Might as well purchase from the local shops here that comes with local warranty for an additional piece of mind.

The CKR9/CKR10 models also may have quite a polarising SQ signature that are quite differently described from what some others have auditioned and remarked on the Head-fi forum, so don't just go simply jump in here and pick the CKR9 'based on' more verbal reviews found online. These 2 models simply don't cut it in terms of 1st impressions based on short auditions, you may require to give them some extended listens in order to appreciate them but I would say out of these 2 models, I liked the CKR9's overall presentation abit better while the CKR10 sounds slightly thicker in the midrange but with better extensions at both ends with absolutely fantastic bass punch/impact qualities.

As I usually adore leaner-sounding presentation for my own gears, I find that the CKR9 is a better bang for the bucks overall though because of ergonomics issue with regards to fitting I did not purchase it in the end myself, and also because I already own quite a few IEMs under my own collection atm.

My personal 2 cents.
