Does it happen on 5ghz only? Or happens to both bands?

Could you confirm if you are running latest firmware for it with the 1688 people? If you aren't, they can push the firmware to you..

hmm i have a brand new 7009 yet to collect if anybody is interested.

Hahas you sell sell sell, you must know that if next time they want to troubleshoot, you need to hook up the 7009 for them hor. I have encountered some technicians who she kind enough to use their test unit to troubleshoot for me, and some very particular and insist I use my own to troubleshoot..

That's why I didn't sell mind throughout the contract for my Feb..

Just a sharing.. :)

Oh no.. have u tried a reset to see if it works again? If not you might have a hardware issue...

Everything will be back to default. You don't have to worry about miotv or singtel acct settings.
If you did change your wifi user/pass, then it will change back to default upon reset.

Perhaps something is wrong with the firmware. I had a 7008 before, the 5ghz bandwidth operates at 20mhz for no reason despite setting it at 80mhz..

Only 1Gbps users can get this modem. I went to singtel shop and they said cannot buy off the shelf.

Last time I bought my 7003 for $129 leh.

Mine aztech 7002 came with my initial 300 Mbps plan. Eventually had some hardware faults, singtel technician came and replace with a 7003 for free. :D

Mine Aztech 7003 is able to configure for 5 Ghz network as well. :D

It seems to me the hardware is the same for these two models as well.

The hardware for these 2 models are definitely not the same, despite equivocal wireless performance. 7003 is a 3x3 wireless ac router while 7009 is a 4x4 wireless ac router with quantena chipset. the website listed is based on the assumption of maximum 3x3 wireless spatial stream which is true enough, as there is no 4x4 wireless device in the market for it to compare with 7003.

Despite the wireless differences, the cpu in 7009 is also significantly different from 7003, hence making 7009 more suitable for 1gbps speed plan, while you will see 7003 struggle under certain stress condition.

However as a general opinion, i don't think 7009 will make a significant difference if one is to migrate from 7003 experience, solely based on the fact that quantena chipset is highly unstable despite the newer SDK released by them..

Thanks bro for the great insight! I definitely learn something!

After a reset, it was more stable for a month with disconnection once every days. Recently back to random disconnection once every 1-2 days.

Firmware Version 339.6.2-011
Software Version V4.16L.02A
Bootloader (CFE) Version 1.0.38-116.174
