Singtel got back to me with a Pinoy CSO. He keep insisting that its normal for me to get 350mbps download and 500mbps upload citing "different speedtest portal" will give different result.

He ask me to open Youtube HD video and to see if i can load vid3o. Which doesnt make sense, Im on fibre of course it will load fast but Im still not within the advertised range of download rate.

I asked him then which speedtest website singtel recommend? Ill do the test there and show you the result. He say singtel dont recommend any speedtest portal. Waste time only, got a feeling their SOP is to blame the user and speedtest portal.

then you report this and let the team come down and have a look lor. sure got some ways to resolve the issue..

if they come down and tested on their laptop and its within normal range, then you gotta find out if your device got problem or not..

Hi, sorry in advance for the dumb question.

I am selling away my modem that I use for my Singtel Fibre broadband because I am moving over to MyRepublic. Before doing that, can I ask if the modem/router (not sure what it is called) that was given to me free my Singtel contains logs of my browsing/internet usage history? Some websites say that it keeps logging of IP addresses or something, but I am not sure if this applies for my case. Any way to reset it to "default" mode?

I do not have MIO TV. It is Aztech FG7003GRV(AC) model make.

i had a old 7002 aztech router,

so now my set up is

ont > ac1900 > lan to > 7002 router

may i know how to access the 7002 router's set up page ah?

because if i key in http://192.168.1.254/, it will show the set up page of ac1900 and not the 7002 router.

well u should disconnect your 7002 router and configure it on a pc or lappy. look out for part of the setting where u can disable the DHCP to let it bridge the connections. den just connect back and just wait for it to have a network light blinking.

its normal, it depends on how good the router manages its resources..

Wait about 5 minutes will do.. if you turn on straight, the power adapter is actually still supplying low power and you won't be exactly rebooting..

[[ForeverAlone said:
];104146003]hmm, how and what the correct way to reboot?

switch off the main and turn on the switch straight?

OR

switch off , wait like 15mins later than switch on?

Need help with Aztech DSL7002GRV-(s)

Currently using Singtel WiFi Gigabit Router AC 1900 and i manage to turn my Aztech DSL7002GRV-(s) into wireless AP. However, whenever i turn on my Aztech DSL7002GRV-(s), some of my android devices (Nexus 5x, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and LG Smart TV) would have problem connecting to internet. Please see following image for the kind reference. Just wanna ask the Gurus if they know the reason behind it?

Looks like an IP conflict to me. how did you make it into access point?

First of all, many thanks for your quick reply! Erm, i have set my Aztech DSL7002GRV-(s) into wireless AP by dedicating an IP address for it "192.168.1.253" and at the same time disabling the DHCP on it as well. One further thing to note is my MAC book and iphone 6 does not have any issues with the wireless AP unlike my andriod devices. However, my note 7 was able to connect to the wireless AP previously . I'm using CAT6A cable to connect Gigabit Router AC 1900 to Aztech DSL7002GRV-(s).

Everything sounds good for the settings part, maybe the 7002 isn't functioning as stable on AP.

Maybe you wanna reset it and set it up again without connecting it to the router first..
