I think Bangkok is one of the place where you can take train and bus same as Singapore.

No need to spend the extra on cab.

The moment she step out of the hotel, she would have to decide
(A) Take airport rail at rajprarop station to phya thai station.
Then change to Phya thai bts
(B) Walk 20min to bts chitlom bts
(C) Take grab or taxi out

Just treat as any other country u been before. Wake up, go eat, go to the place u want, go back, sleep. Repeat.

I always go yaowarat lin zhen xiang (Chinatown) to buy 土产. popiah roll with pork floss, dried sausage and etc.. You can try before you buy.
Or you can go supermarket to similar things but cant try, there are also a lot of nice snacks.

Like what the rest here have said, bkk transport system is like Singapore like that. Just use google map to navigate your way around and take grab and bts can liao. The rest like tuk tuk or taxi avoid taking unless you want to kena robert

side track abit, can ask if anyone here book b4 jetstar? understand that their cheapest price is the 7KG carry on luggage only. no check in luggage

anyone take it before? like that if you still roll luggage right, how to know if it exceed 7kg or not? or is it safer to pay more for the air ticket to get higher weight luggage? what if your luggage dont fit the plane storage above ur head?
