Hey man thanks, great help.
Am using Cardio, mainly jogging for weight loss and also to improve on my stamina.
My jog timing varies, could range from a short intense run, to a long endurance run that could last about 50 minutes.

I used to do Insanity, but that was months back when i stopped gymming and focused mainly on weight loss. Managed to get my weight from 94 all the way down to about 80, where i recently decided to start going back to gym.

Have a goal of hitting below 15% body fat before september, not sure if i am too ambitious, and also further lower my weight to about 65 ~ 70.

Haha, glad i could help. Okay, if your runs are to improve on stamina, and done in the evenings, you do not specifically need to stock up on BCAAs. You can either eat before or after the run (depending on how you feel), hitting your caloric needs.

I think what you stated is a reasonable goal. I personally am 165cm and 75kg. Im choosing to stay at this weight until next week (after exams), where im gonna to drop weight to around 72kg. See how it goes. :) All the best, man!

no, they dont lol. sg dont really sell egg whites... so u need to separate urself.

i personally dont separate it. i take in all half cooked. actually vince gironda advised to take it raw.

when u go to supermarket, look for freedom range eggs. google on why it is good.

stop taking bcaa and protein powders, those are scams. i get big just by taking organic eggs. 6-12 eggs per day. i eat the yolks too.

Maybe you can post some pics of your big self on the other thread? http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/h...-bulky-post-your-pictures-please-2947784.html

Tried Freedom range eggs once, and was pretty underwhelmed. There are better than cheaper eggs out there.

Actually Singapore's free range eggs aren't free range. They are still kept within a facility, so while they do have greater freedom of movement than the caged hens, they are still pretty much stuck and can't graze like the true free ranges. They are probably not fed their natural diet as well since that would lower the rate of egg production.

Not worth the money imo. I make it a point to eat tons of eggs when im overseas. Noticed that the eggs in places like australia are really solid - the yolks are golden orange and do not break easily. The white is also pretty thick and isn't the watery kind of texture.

yeap. singapore can't accommodate the space for such farms.

our chickens are stressed too.

Our stocking density is 5.74 birds/sqm, this being almost double the RSPCA (Australia) standards of 9 birds/sqm. We have pictures of our happy hens on our new website.
We are also pleased to say that we do not use any natural or artificial coloring in our feed such as corn gluten meal or beta carotene to make it appear more yellow or orange.

I sincerely hope that the next time you try our eggs, they will be up to your standards.

are freedom range eggs produced by what my grandma called kampong chicken? :s13:

Anyway realise most of my eggs these days are giving me double yolk. Are they genetically modified eggs? Or am i just that lucky to hit double for 1 week straight?

Thanks for the advice!
I'm not taking any supplements for now, was just wondering if i would need BCAA and protein. Yeap, i do take egg whites, always using the 4:1 ratio, where i will take 3 egg whites and 1 full egg.

Speaking of which, what do you guys do with the egg yolks? Seems like a waste to throw them away. Do NTUC or cold storage sell those kind of egg whites in a carton like they do in the states?

Please! Eat the entire egg - dietary cholesterol has no direct linkage with serum cholesterol. The entire egg is packed with nutrition! If you're afraid of your cholesterol levels, then eliminate trans fat & cut down on saturated fats.

When I was in my 20s & 30s, I used to take up to 20 eggs a day. I'm now 57 & I'm taking 3 - 4 eggs every day and my annual lipid readings are normal ie in the healthy range.

Yup, I had my share of eggs ben and over easys during my honeymoon in NZ 3 years ago.

You can get Australian/NZ eggs in Singapore too, but they literally cost 10x the price.

I've managed to find a brand of eggs that are pretty good quality and reasonably priced. About $2.55 for a tray of 10/12(?) at NTUC, and the yolks are always orange and don't break easily. Can't remember the brand but I think it has "Big", "less cholesterol" and "organic feed" listed in the dark blue/white label. There's also another brand that's labelled as "first born eggs" (green label) that have quality yolks too, but they're much smaller for $2.25, so I just get the bigger ones.
