i ish uncle also but i feel worse than last x nowhere near my last x strength. every few mths get sick then go backwards. really test dropping.... sian. today went gym see all e ppl squatting 2 to 3 plates, 1 fella even sumo deadlift 405ibs.... even 1 amazon girl squat w better form & weight than me... sigh.
i have been on the same diet since i started my journey which is meat + veggie daily and have carbs 1 or 2 times a week.
the only time i see a major drop on the weighting machine is when i stop having meat for a mth and only take carbs.
Use 14-15kcal/lb of bodyweight to calculate maintenance.

First off, I would like to say you've done an incredible job to take charge of your life and make drastic improvements in your health.
kcal = Cals = Calories
1g of protein = 4kcal or 4Cal
lb = pounds.

But those are just estimates. Choose a number and track your weight for 2 weeks before making adjustments accordingly.
I like to keep protein high, because I find that it helps with recovery, plus I like meat.. so I usually aim for 1g/lb of bw. As for fats, I try to aim for 1g/kg.
Also, I appreciate any feedback or criticism you might have for the stuff I've compiled.

If it's a wrist injury, gotta lay off completely until absolutely no more pain - at least 2 months; mine to 3 months to heal. Only permissible exercises are leg presses & leg curls using machines. Plate loading machines also cannot touch. Your MMA, sandbag punching also buay sai.
Supplement wise, Now Foods Bromelain 3 caps 3 times a day on an empty stomach - this will get the inflammation & pain down + help with the healing.
