The most recent flood in china southen area, deployed drones that have very long flight time to relay mobile connection. The electric supplier companies restored electricity within days.

While taiwan southern towns until now still no mobile connection and electricity. taiwan claims to have the mobile connection relay drones too.

lmao if u really understand china censorship regime u know there is no pt n impossible to compare. The disaster reports and negative comments from their netizens always get deleted or hidden after 1-2 days. total blackout. followup report is the flood victims 100% all smiles no complaints online 100% hooked back to the internet back to perfect life line up the streets wave flags to send the rescuers home but cant find comments or coverage about the event after that. state media will report 100% coverage communication electricity restored. taiwan authorities will also say their services restored. but some taiwanese will complain to the media not true and get aired.

Problem is people never learnt. When it happens, they see everyone who talks about it as mocking them and then get bitter and upset deep inside.

Then when such things happen elsewhere, may be worse, may not be worse, or maybe not exactly true also, then then they will “take their revenge” with an outburst of emotion

City is safe but continuous rainy. I was chauffeured around, was at chaoyang district and fengtai district, no see flood. Hearsay north outskirt region 密云 and 朱家 got flood from my driver

thats what happen when u value dams for electricity rather than protect people.....

I watched china news, most of the dams along that affected river are for flood control. Many are blue inflatable rubber across the river.

The dams overwhelmed by the huge amount of water.
