I5-7500 / msi h110m pro vhl
Zotac 1060 amp 6gb
Psu mastercooler 600b
8gb kingston ddr4
Ssd and hdd

Recived my gpu today and tried to plug in using hdmi cable to monitor as i do not have the dvi adapter yet.
At first unable to detect, no signal and show red led on motherboard (VGA)
Then i restart and it able to detect but after 5minutes of usage, the screen shows alot of lines and the screen like tearing then auto shut down . I tried to restart and try again, either no signal or lines appearing on screen then shut down.
I went down to the shop where i bought my motherboard, i ask her to check whats wrong with it and did she use gpu to check when she install the motherboard, she say yes, window startup but no windows install hence never check gpu.
I f***king f her up and say the motherboard that she sell has the LeD indicator to show hardware components faulty with the lights blinking, she like dont know anything .

Anyone able to assist on what is going wrong ?
Is it because i cannot use hdmi ? Only vga or dvi cable can ?

1. chill down

2. test using igpu to rule out monitor or cable issue

3. likely its a gpu problem rather than mobo

Why should you do all this testing? The shop sold you mobo/processor/gpu with diagnostic and installation charges included right? Throw it to them and ask them settle.

If you bought your full rig from the shop just let them settle.
tbh sounds like your gpu may be the problem.

Those photos show lots of artifacting, cfm is graphics card DOA one. My dying r9 290 also had artifacts be4 it crashed. Send it for RMA or exchange it for a new one.

You determined the mobo is at fault and blamed the seller? Now you ask what's wrong. Your order of doing things is wrong.

Obviously gpu is faulty. Remember to go back shop and apologize or karma will strike you again.

If you did not buy the gpu from the shop, can you still ask them to test your pc using one of their gpu? Even better, ask to borrow home and return 1 day later lol since u r juz staying above and is a regular to them?

If possible, bring ur whole rig down and show them the problem. Then ask them to use their gpu to see if its your gpu that is DOA. If no artifacts shown with their gpu, then ask for a swap of new gpu same model.

Then ask them test on the spot for u.

You refering to madcow? I dun think he is a regular there? Also, why would they loan a gpu for a day when u can just test on the spot? Business dun work this way. And if u operate your business like that, u will lose money sooner or later.

Summary/My Understanding:

1) TS buy whole rig from physical shop except GPU

2) No problem

3) TS install new GPU bought from qoo10

4) Now got problem - cannot boot properly with GPU, graphics look like kaput and articfacting

5) TS goes back to physical shop kpkb about mobo fault but shop find nothing

6) TS hasn't seek exchange with qoo10 seller / Zotac distro for seemingly broken GPU

Previously i used my old gpu to test cannot also , thats why i purchase a new gpu .
It might be the pcie slot faulty ? I dont know ,
I thought motherboard will be able to detect gpu faulty or pcie faulty even without connecting to monitor ?
power on with gpu and psu and check the led light from motherboard ?
Im angry because the shop did not test with their gpu , what they mentioned is that they tried using motherboard to monitor and its fine but what about pcie slot ? They didnt try
