What they are doing is simply to satisfied the "must have some form of knowledge working in the trade" in local context and expectation.

I'm dead sure you won't expect Amazon to perform stress test before they ship the replacement card to you in the event of DOA. You clearly know how much a tech support in the DIY shop and distro can do and not expecting any thing more from Amazon too. :)

Time to go home, home PC dead fopr 1 week, no time to fix.

He came in with a different tone, and mentioned about the ex SIA thing, I happen to be in the tourism industry and often hear such stories hence my hostile reply (if any) Sorry but I am sensitive whenever gender arises. Moreover he mentioned about a spoilt kid throwing tantrum. Won't take much to piss anyone off of such a comment was passed. Moreover he goes about acting all high and mighty, even other users pointed out that he might have read the thread wrongly and in the wrong context. Whatever he said might be valid, but not really suitable in this context don't u think?

The best way to stress test gpu is to keep in box... like what I did... confirm no issue one :(

But this SG lah, set your expectations realistically. Simi expertise you expect from DIY PC shop. It's like expecting Samsung service centre troubleshooting level at your typical neighborhood Ah Beng handphone shop.

SLS some more. You come back shop ask help check GPU if spoil, 99℅ will just test can output video = working. No stress test, no game test. Can't expect Linus Sebastian level troubleshooting.

My personal expectation of SLS is they there sell you only, any problem please go distro. And when you go to distro, be prepared for 6-8 weeks of waiting if need send back manufacturer. Even Atlas with its decent service can only do so much as a Bose distro.

Fit guy was at traffic light and saw an old man crossing the road. He decided to help the old man. Half way through the zebra crossing, his back issue came about and was unable to continue helping the old man cross.

As the bystander, what is wrong and what is right?

The right thing is to do nothing and mind your own business. Nowhere does it say old man struggling to get across the road. Trump is an old man, he can get across any road
