Car have to park at the designated location.

Who want to drive a car where u cant reach the place as near as u park?

Unless some of the them are so lucky to have bluesg car charging point right next to their home and also happen to go places with the charging parking lot.

Main reason to drive your own car is to save time and have convenient. Esp those places where public transports are inadequate such as industrial area like Tuas south, jurong island. Ulu army camp etc..

Btw be careful when chionging on this car. There is only driver airbag and no pax or side airbags. Not sure if the car is euro NCAP tested

Edit: the vehicle has front passenger airbag

Just read from a ST reporter reviewed on the car. The car has safety feature which capped the speed limit to 70km/hr. That make it even worst for a driver like me to consider rent it.

Dont think airbag will help much for such a small car getting into accident.
Also, the car has a GPS, you are unlikely to get away from speeding.

Under the premium yearly membership plan, priced at S$15 a month, subscribers are charged S$0.33 per minute for a minimum booking of 15 minutes.

The weekly membership plan does not charge a recurring fee and users will pay S$0.50 per minute for a minimum duration of 15 minutes.

By the time you get out of parking place, you already paid close to $1.

Not true, the reporter said that without pressing much on accelerator, the car couldn't exceed 70.

I did a road test on the car ytd and it could hit and cruise at 100km/h without issue. Just need to be more heavy footed (as electric car operate differently)

May be programming not done in the one you rent. Else may be same working model as SMRT. In anycase, these car should be closely monitor vis GPS.

The price might be comparable to U/G but people need to go to the various car parks to pick the car up so that might put people off. But It will not fail as got govt support and govt will keep building the charging station for BlueSG. I am not sure if they need to bid for COE, if don't need, their cost is already much lower than other car rental companies.

hard truth

"But It will not fail as got govt support and govt will keep building the charging station for BlueSG"
