Not true, the reporter said that without pressing much on accelerator, the car couldn't exceed 70.

I did a road test on the car ytd and it could hit and cruise at 100km/h without issue. Just need to be more heavy footed (as electric car operate differently)

same here. did a test on the max speed, its 101km/h for me, with 4 people.

Are you sure about what you say?

https://www.lta.gov.sg/apps/news/page.aspx?c=2&id=48509d3b-e74d-459b-b84e-5c1b79db4c76

3 Under the EV car-sharing programme signed with LTA and the Economic Development Board (EDB) in June 2016, BlueSG will roll out a total of 500 charging stations equipped with 2,000 charging points nation-wide. Of these, 400 charging points will be opened for public use. In addition, the first batch of Bluecars is being commissioned in Singapore and will form part of a 1,000-strong EV fleet in the future.

$0.33-$0.50/min
wtf rates are these..
even bike sharing rates charge in blocks of 5-15mins?
they think starhub, charge by seconds....?
Imagine getting stuck in a traffic jam......i'd sweat on a cab, i rather pay grab/uBer.
at least they have special parking lots.... maybe sg should adopt an electric car lane too!

I predict people will test drive once and boycott it. Too expensive. At some point someone might even drive it into a drain and leave it where it belongs.

If they want massive uptake, revise the price to $0.07/min without deposit. Leave the $0.33-0.5/min pricing for electric trucks. This electric car is small, cannot much load, cannot go very far and probably not allowed into johor. The higher pricing is completely justified if it can be driven into johor and the company can get insurance cover for theft or total loss.

did u even go to the website n read their information?

the price is still alot cheaper compared to Smove (wit minimum $50 payment), from point A to point B if total rental time <150mins.

Yes, the 30 mins meant for you to travel from home to target charging point. No advance reservation supported

Thats too long. The company will not find resounding success until they can shorten the recharging to 30-60mins

i have clocked about 20 rides with this bluesg so far. I used this together with bike sharing and it works great for me. I can say this achieve the objective of a car-lite society. Sharing is really the way to go.

I signed up last night, approved this morning and took 1 blueSG car for a spin around the neighbourhood. Quite slow in moving off had to step quite hard.. Capable of going fast. Need not worry. A very zippy city car indeed!
