Rental still too ex

Sent from OPPO CPH1607 using GAGT
Its a point A to point B car.

NOT a full-fledged rental car.

If you wanna compare it against Taxi, GTG (Grab, Tada, Go-Jek), plus if you know your roads and timings very well (not drive like a blind bat totally oblivious), its cheaper than the 4 combined.

But there are always blur cockanathans around. These should stay away from car sharing with a 10ft pole.

To stop usage, must return. Clock is ticking from cable out and stops when cable in.

Oh. so that's how they charge.
so can I start from carpark A and return at carpark B with charging point?
or die die must return at carpark A?

Once you plug in at Carpark B, they will stop charging, no need to return to Carpark A. But if no free Charging Point in Carpark B then :s22:

Can reserve an available parking lot in advance...

The new version of the app has something called queue-pop. So if the lots are all still occupied, you can still chope first. Once a lot a available, you will get an alert and the lot will be reserved for you.

You can also easily find alternate carparks using the app, or from the GPS unit in the car.

Of course, if for some of the more ulu places, the next nearest carpark might be some distance away.

Yes, need your own cash card to enter normal carparks which do not have BlueSG stations, for ERP etc.

Can bluesg cars park at non bluesg dedicated lots?

Yes. You can treat it like a normal car and park at other car parks. But they will keep charging you rental by the minute (50 cents for normal member, 33 cents for premium members) as long as you do not return to their charging stations.

Yah, this one a bit evil of BlueSG. Took me 2nd trip to figure out must manually press aircon button and the HUD will have indicator after you press.

Is way cheaper to take a taxi.
This system is build to fail.

I would love it if they can reduce the prices further once they get past the infra build up phase. I believe they have a very successful model currently, and will be hear for good. Just need more stations.

To be fair, if your starting point and destination nearby got a charging station, it's definitely cheaper than taking a cab.

I do have some complaints though -

1) Steering is heavy for such a small car
2) Feels heavy (probably due to the battery) for its size
3) Right side view mirror cannot adjust until I can barely see the side of the car (so that I can see more of the road behind).
4) Depending on your preferred driving position and how far back the passenger sits, left side definitely got a troublesome blind spot coz the head rest of passenger seat blocks the rear left window (which is already small). Have to move body to see.
