i think it is worth mentioning that, the more ppl question or even doubt my own choices, the more i am reminded of what i wanna go for. weirdly enough these are the guys who spur me on albeit in a diff way. ofcourse, u arent the first or last guy who told me this, so dont feel special. still, i appreciate all this man

i wont bother addressing the part abt being ''suitable for what i am looking for'' cos...

firstly, the two possibilities are either command school or unit man. posted to other unit or go back to my current unit, is up to whoever is incharge of posting me alr, in this case should be BMTC after my recourse. neither u nor i have any say in that matter by then, sorry to disappoint u on that

secondly, ofcourse i wont know what i am really suitable for lah, *facepalm* since i came here without finishing BMT so i never know where theheck i would've otherwise been posted to by BMTC. but once i finish my 2nd BMT, when they post me somewhere, i know it'll be where i've been selected, so i'll have no issues of 'suitability' by then. at least in their eyes (definitely not urs LOL or mine)

and out of curiosity, O wise and ups encik, what did u do in ur NS anyway? just want to know if u have any more experience in this particular subject, which by the way, has been mainly resolved by another commenter, im just addressing ur opinions.

honestly at this point u and i could go on abt this same topic even until i ORD. but i know that as much as u wont change ur stance, i wont change my decision either.

Well, you are saying that you want to make the most of your two years in NS by doing what you want to do cause you are implying that you can't make the most of your two years in NS doing what you are doing now. I am saying that if you can't make the most of your two years in NS doing what you are doing now is on you, it is not on others in your current unit preventing you from making the most of your two years in NS doing what you are doing now.

I don't have to calm my hormones, but you will need to re-adjust your mindset about what "making the most of" mean.

Of course I wouldn't have a say, I wouldn't say you don't have a say, but you definitely have more say than I do. I am just saying your perception of "making the most of" can only be done through other means other than what you are doing now in NS is not "true", it is what you make of it that matters.

your PES grading depends on your physical medical status.

if u are asking for tips on how to down-PES even if your medically certified PES is higher than what you hope for, the only way is to either self-inflict injury or visit the mental hospital.

yes we wear rank... but no use.... u are a trainee... even 3sg also no use

you have to still wear the rank as it is part of your uniform. But if you are in BMT, u shall follow your "appointment" which is "trainee" and has to adhered to your instructors.

if you are talking about the "wow" factors or amazed/curious looks by the fresh recruits (which u will have esp when u book-in or out and being botak), your formation and vocation badges does give you such attention as well. No need for the rank at all.
