Yup.. But strange leh.. I got the 1.55% interest for (debit)card spend but I din get my 0.1% cashback yet for using the debit card haha

Hmm the only thing i got is the 'interest settlement', which was for the account balance.. i think ill make a trip to the branch and ask, and activate the sms service as well..

Then for the 3 bill payments.. last month i also paid 2x S$5/- credit card payments, but itchy backside and decided to try sth new and i used GIRO for income tax for the 3rd payment.. it showed 'Local Clearing And Outward Remittance' under transaction type and 'TAXS' under description.. i guess it din count sianz...

It seems like the bank staff do not know that it is supported. It's weird. Anyway going to move all the GIRO to my BOC account.

I'm just curious how many of you keeping BOC as your main account for salary credit etc etc. Or this is purely to get the interest.

Yes. But must pay using "bill payment" ie add card to the list of payee.

Yes 3 bills can be combination of ibanking bill payment and/or GIRO.

With regards to the ezlink card Ed-reload auto topup, can we use the debit MasterCard? Just spoke to ezlink and was told many applied using cards from BOC but was not successful and they are working on it.

Any one managed to set up the Ez-reload successfully?

hello all,
i've read read back lots of pages, but my position is kinda different, hope you guys can advice me on some points

i just started working, net salary does not reach the min limit yet. - (so i'm out of this criteria for now)
(company is using fast transfer for salary payment also)

spending limit of min 500 monthly so abit hard to achieve as I'm trying to keep my monthly spending low, due to lower income..

so i'm just left with the option of monthly prevailing interest rate and/or the 3 bills monthly (i've phone bills only to pay for now)

i've got some inheritance from my late father, so i wished to use them to get some interest.

I've read about cimb fast saver, fixed 1% pa.

i'm currently using the simple uob savings account for daily transaction, so either of those 2 will give higher interest rate.

which one would you guys suggest tho?
