Can only access to web browser login.
Unable to log in using app or thru phone.

Can use boc mobile banking app.

1. Activate the mobile banking via the online banking, which require you to set the username and password for mobile banking.
2. Download the app from google play store or apple app store. And login using the username and password you set.

Can I quickly check with you guys if you are able to add new payees from the e-banking portal at this moment, or is it just me? I encountered an error that doesn't allow me to do so.

You need to login with token, not OTP SMS. Only then would you be allowed to add payees.

Can I check with the masters here, my first month receiving salary with my BOC account.

The transaction is classed as "Local Clearing And Inward Remittance", with the description "SALA". Does this mean the Salary requirement is fulfilled? My company uses OCBC GIRO Payroll :)

My bad, solitudinal and sbs199. I was confused if I actually needed to follow the steps in the 'Activate and bind eToken' button as a first-time user. So I tried logging in via SMS first.

Thing is, all along, the OTP function is available on my eToken. So maybe the bank's staff has did that for me as I'm able to add payees, etc now. So essentially, I just needed to change my user name and password.

Apologies for the silly error, guys.

No problem. I tried doing "Activate and bind eToken" too when I first opened my account, but it kept failing. Called the bank and CSO told me it's already been activated. The whole interface isn't very intuitive, but oh well, can't complain about the good rate ;)

Do check out their credit cards as well - sometimes you get a nice promotion going on. I was offered a "Spend $100 get $80 cashback promotion" so I signed up for their cards on the spot too.

I'm a frequent online purchase user. Sometimes use card for movies and groceries.

Do BOC card well received? I mean like for e.g. during GSS or IT show, do they offer better/extra benefit etc...

They have some nice promos occasionally on their union pay card.

Yes, and they had a 20% off certain restaurants on the Infinite card too. I used it at Swensen's several times to good effect, although even the staff didn't even know about it and didn't know how to key in until I had to show it to them.

Hi all, I received a 50cents credit on 1 Oct. Which interest comes in the first of the month? Anw, also received around $19 interest on 30 Sep, I am guessing that is the base interest of 0.4%

NoteL 50cents credit is named as inward transfer. maybe it's not interest...

I think the 50 cents is your rebate for debit card spend

Just went into apply for the SmartSaver Account this morning at Main Branch.
So empty... Anyway, service is good. Open up a 1.5k account first with Debit card (not taking the unionpay) and the online banking token.

Btw, so far no promotion suits me for the CC. The current one is $100 voucher if apply all 3 + moneyplus card. @.@

Correcting myself.

I did receive an interest credit yesterday (30 Sep) This is very likely the base interest. Also received a small credit today, that's for the Debit Card rebate. Didn't even know their debit card gave a rebate :s13:

EDIT: By the way, in case anyone missed out on this:

"To serve you better, we will be upgrading our online banking system on 5 October 2016. BOC Online Banking FAST Transfer Service will be unavailable on 5 October 2016, 6:00PM to 9:00PM. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. "

EDIT 2: Corrected myself.
