Thanks . Just gonna transfer myself on a monthly basis. Lol
No issues with the conditions for smartsaver

Think don’t have to delink. For Tier 2, need to do 2 Pay Now transfers a month with min $10 to qualify for the rebates and need to at least satisfy one of the conditions for higher interest for SmartSaver

Thanks. Just did it.

There is option to register Paynow by mobile no. and/or NRIC number. This BOC rebate requires registration by mobile number.

Receiving paynow need to be registered. Sending paynow no need to register. So you can send from other banks by paynow to your newly registered BOC mobile number.

Yes that's what i did.

1. deregister from existing bank for your mobile phone pay now
2. register boc paynow via mobile number
3. use other bank to transfer paynow to your own mobile phone, min $50, 1 txn will do

Tadah, 3 simple steps you get tier 1 $$$

Tier 2 starts 1 Sep.

I presume for tier 2 rebates I can use another bank account under my name to do 2 Paynow transfer of $10 consecutively into my BOC account ?

There’s another thread in credit card that says Must pay $50 from July 2018 onwards

They always do full waiver. But you need to hit a minimum spend.

If you have do a $1.5k per month spending, they will always waive it off immediately.

Yes. Only do partial waiver and need to pay $50 plus GST for annual fee charged from July. Applicable to BOC family card and Sheng Siong card only. Regardless of spending. Big spender also must pay. I kena.

In another bank, choose transfer fund using paynow. Then select paynow mobile number, then input your number registered with BOC paynow.

i realised, if you have 2 banks paynow.
one is mobile , one is nric.
