Can't be all interest, when u click on each transaction only those with transaction type interest settlement is interest.

your average daily balance is around $58062

23.16 (maybe base interest, calculated daily)
1.38 (rebate for debit card?)
0.36 (rebate for debit card? you used more than 1 debit card I assume. transaction type is inward transfer for debit card rebate)
17.26 (likely Meet 3 bill spent)
78.90 (likely card spent interest)
5.11 (no idea)

Anyway quite surprised u have your jul bonus interest already, I not yet receive.

sorry, overlooked the dates, above interest recd in July(so interest was for Jun), now recd interest in Aug for July

1st Aug
25.34
1.64
the other interest haven't come in, do you know how the 0.4%base interest is been allocated? Do you think I should max out BOC instead of OCBC 360?

ok. so you opened account 1 jun, not 1 jul. Base interest is calculated daily. Assume you have more than $50k balance everyday, the base interest is 0.4% everyday.

your average daily balance for jun is around $70360

23.16 (base interest, calculated daily)
1.38 (rebate for debit card?)
0.36 (rebate for debit card? you used more than 1 debit card I assume. transaction type is inward transfer for debit card rebate)
17.26 (Meet 3 bill spent, 0.35% for $60k)
78.90 (card spent interest, 1.6% for $60k)
5.11 (0.6% save bonus interest, for average daily balance above $60k)

i already threw all my standard cash savings into singapore savings bond.

cash float wise all in ocbc, definitely less then 70k, and lazy to switch bank to do salary credit.

so far so gd. no pressure to spend to get extra interest for multiple bank too

Avg EIR for UOB is only 2.45%. Maybank is 3% for what seh..

Starting 1 Aug, 50k in uob one only get average EIR 2.03%. But if you top up 25k, the 25k will earn (10k×2.3%+1.5k×3.88%)/ 25k = 3.248% which is higher than 3% for maybank. Alternatively you should see if you should move your $50k from uob one to somewhere else that give more than 2.03%.

So 75k earn 3.248% or only the 25k earn that?

What is the EIR for the full 75k?

Cause the 50k that I have is going to pay for house. So I won't be having that soon. So u less the full 75k is higher there is no point moving over.

EIR for the full 75k is about the same as the EIR before Aug.

Looks like also good to ditch OCBC 360, top up 5K open another UOB one account.

Thank you, now can match:)
the 0.4% Interest base on tiers
Below 5K 0.25%
5K<20K 0.275%
20K<50K 0.35%
50k & above 0.4%

I have OCBC 360 with 70K, salary credit 1.2%, 3pymt 0.3%(Endow 1pymt already hit $150, another 2 pymt minimum sum easy to pay), credit card spend 0.3%(no need to spend cos bot mthly endowment), base 0.05%. = Total 1.85%

Salary for both OCBC and BOC at 1.2%, the difference is OCBC with interest at 70K but BOC only at 60K so perhaps still ok to credit at OCBC?

Now my BOC balance dropped to 50K so I am thinking whether is it more worthwhile to transfer 10K from OCBC 360 to BOC? My BOC - No salary credit, spent 1500(1.6%, also made 3 pymt(0.35%), base 0.4%.

Any advise?

think alot of ppl here earn more than 6k per month, very the envious. BOC 6k to get 1.2%, OCBC 360 2k to get 1.2%, is that not a difference? :s11:

1.6% if your cc hit 1.5k bah. Usually 2 lines unless you have over $60,000 inside
End of July I have a 18.74 interest settlement. I was taking that as the base interest 0.4 and worked out I have 56220 average balance. I did spent 3000ish on air ticket using debit card so I am expecting a $74 interest. But it didn't come today. Guess have call them and ask them.

It has to be credit card spend, not debit card spend....
