If I charge $100 to BOC Family card and $400 to BOC Zaobao Unionpay card, considered as meeting the $500 card spend for BOC smartsaver right ?

Also what are the options for paying BOC Zaobao Unionpay card bill ? Can it be paid by AXS ?

yes and AXS/Boc mobile or internet banking

I used AXS mobile app successfully to pay for my credit card bill using BOC debit card on 8 and 9 Jul.

Did you saved your debit card in AXS ? Maybe try to delete and save again.
Yes. Saved BOC debit card can't, manually key in that card details also can't. Just immediately show transaction unsuccessful.

I experience the same when trying to make payment recently. As suggested, you can try the browser version. Abit troublesome as need to key in the bill number everytime u want to make payment.

Sorry I meant the mAXS (Mobile AXS app). Paid a CC bill using my saved BOC debit card. No issues.

Do u mean mAXS, the mobile app? I can't pay in app since last month. Called AXS still no improvement. Can pay with website eAXS.

To Add up,

so for $80k it's:
- 1.45% for $1,500 card spend + 3 bill payment + $6,000 salary
- 1.25% for $500 card spend + 3 bill payment + $6,000 salary
- 1.25% for $1,500 card spend + 3 bill payment + $2,000 salary
- 1.05% for $500 card spend + 3 bill payment + $2,000 salary
- 0.95% for $1,500 card spend + 3 bill payment
- 0.95% for $6,000 salary + 3 bill payment
- 0.75% for $500 card spend + 3 bill payment
- 0.75% for $2,000 salary + 3 bill payment
- 0.45% for 3 bill payment

Now every bank saving account sucks

Has anyone worked out how this affects the dollar value on the interest we can earn and can share please?

I think if $1,500 card spend + 3 bill payment + $6,000 salary used to be $60+ $80 + $17? around there?

Used to be approx $20 (base) + $60 (Salary) + $80 (CC) + $17 (Pay Bill) = $180 interest per month based on $60K

with new interest shd be ard $70+ per month for 60K
but u can increase to $80K for $90+ per month interest

Thank you!

Thinking of just spending $500.. spend $1500 like additional 0.2% interest only this time....

Any idea how to close this account? Does it require a visit to the branch or is sending in a letter after moving the funds out beforehand going to do the trick?

If acct has $80k, and only do $500 credit card spend + 3 bill payment

(Existing) Till end-Jul 2020:
$(80k - 60k) -> 0.60%pa of $20k = $10

So for the presented case of $80k:

Total bonus interest (existing) = $40 + $17.5 + $10 = $67.50

Total bonus interest (from Aug 2020) = $20 + $20 = $40.00

B.U.M.P .... my summary

Hey Bro, where do u park your cash? There is any better choice than BOC?
cpf oa to fund housing loan
hsbc step up

i dont wan waste time with other options - killing/killed boc, uob, bonussaver. everything.
- u can opt for dash n singlife

singlife 2.5% 10k
dash 2.0% 20k

cimb do nothing 1.35%

bonussaver: 1.3% up to 80k (salary+ 3bill+2000spend)

uob one: 1.2% up to 75k (salary + cc spend)

boc: 1.45% up to 80k (3bill+ 1500spend+salary)

hsbc ega: 1.3% for 3 months, excluding $800debit spend and $5000forex bonus, optimal point --200k-- optimal point

dbs multiplier: not looking at this

maybank: not looking at this

maxigain: not looking at this

ocbc 360: 1.2% (salary+ save)

cpf refund housing: 2.5%. for those using bank loan, still got outstanding loan. refund end of mth for optimal double dip

thanks bro for summary.
I'm still thinking where to move :(

In my case, if there is no better place to move, just continue for the next 1~2 months. I find it hard to break the routine I have cultivated after a period of time ......
