From other forum readers sharing, China banks IT not so simple to work around. You all should surf more other forums besides hwz and so far up till date most readers have success with UOB becuz it is not workaround as their IT allow it based on the TnC

Hi, do anyone know if the interest on this account is payable base on the account balance or the available balance amount? Reason being need to know if I hit the 100k as debit card spend reduce the availabe balance immediately only.

Only genuine employment salary credit via GIRO or BOC Salary Crediting Service with transaction descriptions "SALA" or "IBG-SALA" printed on the monthly statement within the calendar month is eligible. Salary credit in other forms will not be eligible.

So China banks know the workaround I see. UOB still allow becuz they never put the keyword genuine so they accept all kinds. Thanks for sharing.

Are you not able to hit the multiplier categories, or cannot hit the 30k requirement? If it is the latter there is a solution.

The trick is to do things quietly and via PMs.

FYI, 2x in a row the bank did not credit my bonus interest for card spends & both I need to call & they followed up to credit e correct amount. For those, may want to check that BOC does credit the bonus interests correctly.
