hi all, i just realised i spend $1400 for the credit card spending for this month. If i spend $100 today, i dont think it will be able to get posted by today. Anyone has called in before to appeal for the rebate for Smartsaver ? TIA.

I hated to break this news to you. Not a chance at all if you make a spending on the last day of the month. This amount will be brought to the next month as the posted date will be 1 to 3 days later.

I did this mistake before and called many times. Same reply always from boc. Your lesson learnt.

Always make sure to spend at least 1 week before month end.

Some retailers really take 4-5 days for it to book. And there's a weekend lag....

BOC is pretty much a manual bank. Need to go down to branch to close.

I check elite miles translate to 1.2% rebate for local spend and 2.4% for overseas. Not that fantastic and catalog is very limited.

it depends on how you translate miles into cents, but if you just compare miles to miles with other banks, 1.5 miles/$ is not bad
