They haven't implemented mobile token right.. their hard token battery dies very fast.. that's another reason I wanna close account. But close account needa Q, change new token also Q.. no choice but to just leave it at 0 (or 200 starting from Jan if you want to keep the account).

Wow that's bad means if your token battery depleted, there is no way u can withdraw your money online must visit branch and queue for withdrawal?

Not true, when my battery went flat, luckily I still have mobile banking! And u can easily create it.

Still can use mobile and ibanking per normal. Just that transactions that require the token, like changing transaction limit, adding payee all these cannot until u go get a new physical token. Like I needed to transfer via fast a large sum. Had to do 5k by 5k over a few days as limit is 5k and I cannot change the limit because token no battery

BOC staff told me if token battery flat need go branch take queue no they check and then 1 to 1 exchange. So if got faster add all your payee and set transaction limit. But for transaction that require token too bad cannot lor. I also have ICBC token about same time. I will compare these two banks which battery run out faster since both are China banks.

Btw BOC say if lost token get new one is $20!!!! He almost never give me as he say system check they got issue to me long time ago when I have BOC family credit card but I don't remember seeing or using. But he quite guailan until later he check token close to expiry date so he give me a new one. The two guys counter staff in the Woodlands branch all Msian their accent so obvious. But I think behind office are China Chinese ladies. So typical and understandable own ppl do impt task face in front get locals or Msian do. The guys quite eat snake compared to a lady who serve me initially. So ppl say JHK hardworking BS lar. The lady clear 3 the guys clear 1 customer how efficient.

That is why nowadays I don't want to exploit anymore just be an obedient customer. Dunno what day bank discover my pattern and terminate my account.

OCBC will shut someone down once they stop being a profitable cow.

In Spore I believe banks exchange info with each other? You kena banned in one sure let other banks know?

Thanks for sharing. Reason I put question mark is becuz in another forum I visit some readers claim after being terminated account from bank A he attempt to open at bank B face issues and he suspect bank B find out his bank A account get terminated reasons etc conspiracy theories
