just curious ..... $46.40 is carried forward from the previous month's bill. Besides the $3.15 cash rebate (credit transaction) , I dont see any other credit transaction (your payment of $46.40). Did you forget to make Bill Payment or your bill payment did not reach BOC by the Due Date?
The $46.40 was the outstanding amount last month which I had forgotten to pay, and then it was carried forward

Late payment fee-
I forgot to pay just once last month but always paid in full every other month

$3 interest-
They are charging me almost every month for it despite full payment is made every month

It may like Credit line, the outstanding amount is charged interest at the beginning of the bill created. So let's say if your total bill amount is $200. You spend $100 on that Month and another $100 is unpaid bill + interest.
After bill is generated, the outstanding $100 will count on the daily interest. If after 5 days, You need to pay more than $200 to clear the outstanding bill because there is 5 days interest charges on $100.

You should call about the $3. Is it you always exclude the $3 when you make payment.

yep. All my BI is correct for $100k but the base int only got $27+
This may be due to bug in their calculation.
1-Sep is SUNDAY, the average balance is not counted on that day for 0.4% interest? it treat September only has 29 days.

base interest is accrued daily on your EOD balance x respective tier interest rate % and credited on month end. Bonus interest is awarded based on ADB.

late fee

interest charges etc

some say can call to request for waiver etc

but seriously, calling their hotline, having to wait for customer service staff

dislike spending time on such matters

switch to other payment methods

gone are the good old days of using credit cards, too troublesome when it comes to all these service fees

If pay on time no such charges.

If miss payment, don't blame the bank.

Make a phonecall also troublesome ? BOC card hotline waiting time still ok

anyone not using BOC but still holding on to the account?

I think there's no way BOC will return to the high interest anymore...thinking of shutting down BOC totally..

have to go the branch or can do via call ?
