In the first few pages, I've read about deposit RMB instead of SGD to this MCS account to enjoy up to 1.785% p.a. for SGD deposits and 3.50% p.a. for RMB deposits (on top of the Smartsaver bonus interest of 3.15% p.a).

Just for currency check, is the above still valid?
