I remember in brochure, if you can't meet the annual $120K, you can put a fixed deposit. Can't recall the amount

Too troublesome to go down to get the form.
I received the card and it comes with a welcome letter stating that there's a 6% rebate for the first 3 months without any mention of first 350 customers. Naturally I take it as I qualify.
However upon calling the customer service officer, he told me there's no way to ascertain whether I qualify until the end of 3 months upon which I may or may not get the rebate. Really doesn't inspire any confidence.

usual foreign currency exchange fee is 2.5% which consists of fees to VISA 1% and fees to BOC 1.5%. The 1.5% is waived, so left only 1% fees to VISA for transaction in foreign currency. But if I read correctly the 6% rebate applies only for spending in Singapore, so no point using this card to earn 1% rebate and than pay 1% fee, end up no rebate.
