10% down pre market. One of my core holdings along with LMT. Interesting times ahead.

The 2 accidents cost 346 lives. The latter investigation should conclude faster. But 2 in a row is hardly an coincidence. Falling knife ?

well, most tried to put most of the blame on Lion Air for bad safety practices the other time, naturally this time will take even longer. very malu if is really their own fault.

I doubt it is due to Boeing's fault. The plane is popular with budget airlines because it is very fuel efficient and price-competitive. The plane could require a higher level of pilot sophistication??? anyway, i will bounce when a good price correction takes place.

It’s not clear why pilots of the Oct. 29 flight weren’t able to override the system or what procedures they tried to use. According to today’s report, the 31-year-old Indian commanding pilot of JT610 had more than 6,000 hours of flying experience, while the second-in-command, a 41-year-old Indonesian national, had over 5,000 hours of flying experience.

I am waiting for info about the Pilots of the fallen Ethiopian Boeing.

In a press release, Ethiopian Airlines said senior captain Yared Getachew, who had more than 8000 flight hours, was in command of the plane.

His first officer, Ahmed Nur Mohammod Nur, had 200 hours of flight time.

Good opportunity to buy for long term, especially when the industry is a duopoly between Airbus and Boeing with no other competition. Boeing just needs time for their engineers to fix the issue.

U think it is a engineering issue? A design issue?
I suspect pilot training and/or maintenance. That is why I am buying.

The co-pilot Harvino was supposed to be on JT812. But he ended up in JT610.

CAAS temporarily suspends Boeing 737 MAX aircraft operations in Singapore
This will affect SilkAir, China Southern Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Shandong Airlines and Thai Lion Air.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is temporarily suspending operation of all variants of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft into and out of Singapore, taking effect on 12 March 2019.

Rumours swirling in the US that it is either a software or fuselage issue. I will accumulate more when it corrects steeper than last night.
