Think it's not single trans.. cumulative within the month means today I buy 10k stocks and another 10k one week later will also qualify, not sure if my interpretation is correct..
Yes that is correct. I missed that out earlier.

if we just:
- spend $1k on their CC
- FAST "salary" over
... can hit 3.05% for 100k right (0.05% + 1.5% + 1.5%)?
Yes, but there are other banks you can go with for this rate too

For this Bonus$aver bonus interest promo, you can buy and sell, no need to hold. But, perhaps it is advisable to sell in the following month after crossing over the first month-end instead of buy & sell all within the same month. Encountered some issue last year with bonus interest under the old promo when I buy & sell UT all within the same month – I suspect it could be due to the system, then they investigated & confirmed that I have bought.

Note that there is currently a separate “e$aver Bonus Interest” promo where the t&cs specify : “Your eligible Bonus Interest Rate is assessed based on your wealth holdings at the end of each calendar month during the promotion period.”
Thanks for your advice. I gather if I use this buy-sell strategy to get the additional bonus interest, I should simply buy closer to end of the month, and sell immediately the next month to avoid unnecessary complications. One question I have is that buying of shares as long its within the last working day will be considered for the month to have fulfill the invest portion? I have not bought any shares from SCB before. So I need to fund my investment account before I can place my bid order, I supposed?

I have just opened the account online and it's a breeze. There is an ongoing promo on getting some free SPDR Straits Times Index ETF (SGX:ES3) so I have also funded the account. The T&C as below:

BTW, anyone have problem with the unit trust application Customer Investment Profile update? I click on this but it got an error and ask me to go to the branch. :-(

The part that is not clear is what is "eligible Online Equities"?

So only pure stocks are eligible?
You can first decide which one you want to buy, then contact the bank to confirm Eligible before buying.

If you are looking for an official bank answer, it’s better to ignore my opinion below:
I would think any stocks/ETFs from any stock exchanges which you can find & buy successfully via their trading platform should be valid.
Since they did not define Eligible in t&cs, maybe visit website to see if they mention anything relevant:

To play safe, your purchased stock should show up in the Investment a/c before the last day of the month. You should not do the Buy exactly on the last day.

When to buy and sell UT/equities depends on your actual purpose. Anyway, it is best to choose something which ‘can move’ with enough price movements for you to at least breakeven upon Sell (i.e. at least can cover all the fees incurred for both buy/sell). Close monitoring of daily prices is very important, be prepared to hold longer than you intended.

UT application- there are some investment online questionaires, maybe you have not completed them, but a visit to branch should solve all issues.

Hi. I wonder if anyone here purchased SG stock MMS.SI (Phillip SGD Money Market ETF) $20k and considered as satisfying the Invest part of the Bonus Savers?

Hi. For the Bonus Saver credit card, is the statement date is the same as existing SCB credit card? Or it's end of the month?

Received the push MSG. got cash and share promotion for openning this BonusSaver account.
For Bonus$aver account sign-ups in June 2025. New customers can receive up to S$68 cashback and 50 units of SPDR STI ETF (SGX:ES3) worth S$198, when they sign up for a Bonus$aver account and a Bonus$aver World Mastercard Credit Card, and meet certain deposit and spending requirements. The promotion also includes a chance to win a Paris getaway for two.

Any annual fees payable?

Visited branch on Mon and opened a Joint Alternate bonus saver. Activated my acct via mobile app but wife did not receive any temp password, user id to-date.. SC really v slow as I have to call to ask after 3 days.

Now try to apply a Personal online trading on sgx but unsuccessful when at step 2 - trading in Europe or something like that and then there's a msg which mention I need to have at least a existing account and to visit branch. Anyone knows is it a requirement to have a Personal saving/current account in order to open a Personal online trading? Joint Alternate cannot ?? Hope this is not the case

1. The $68 cashback might be a targeted marketing message (by invite)
2. The 50 units of SPDR STI ETF is open to all who open Bonus$aver in Jun 2025
3. The Trip for 2 to Paris (5 winners) is not exclusive to Bonus$aver account opening. It should be the top prize for the SC Pinball Sure Win Game - spend on almost all eligible SCB cards

Not sure $68 is for Master Card spending promotion.
Anyway, when I try sign up for the Bonus Saver account, I could not see $68 promotion. Just to clarify, in case any possible misleading info.
