I went to buy bread.
Looking for a affordable bread.
But those healthy bread is very expensive.
And those low quality one is chap.
I go for $1.90 bread. (Daily's wholemeal bread).

The poor will probably die faster while the rich enjoy healthy food.

On the way back, took a lift with one elderly lady.

She look at the bread n the price.
I told her bread very expensive.

She told me she buy one packet of bee hoon cost $5.

I told her everything getting expensive.
Who have you voted for?
Skarli auntie also voted for the majority

For your info, inflation is not a problem exclusive to Sg. It’s a worldwide problem.

Do you see any nutrients benefits in plain white bread?

That you really must spend $2 to buy a loaf and do nothing for your body?

Otherwise, consider paying more for artisanal multigrain wholemeal bread.

Those are worth your effort, money and health. Only $5+ plus a loaf.

If you can afford Labubu, surely you can afford proper bread…

Ts, don't say ntuc never help Singaporeans... Gardenia selling this for $3.60 or more... Fairprice is selling at $2.40. I have tried both and found the Fairprice one more chewy.

The poverty cycle...

No money, so eat cheap processed food, or Maggie mee.... end up malnutrition or tio health diseases from these processed food. Kids growing up without proper nutrition also negatively affects their growth.

No money, don't bother go see dentist for routine cleaning... end up cavities and pain but still no money, so just extract ownself then teeth shift and your beautiful smile is gone. Or worse yet, leave the tooth alone and use temporary remedies to soothe the pain... then later end up tooth infected and need root canal treatment... more damage.

No money and have to save up so don't buy insurance. The one day the unpredictable happens and now no money pay hospital bills.

No money so kids start working part time job instead of focusing studies. End up grades also affected then cannot go to poly or what... future also f**ked.

Grew up poor they will also absorb not-so-good beliefs like don't dare to take risks, low self esteem, no money management skills... so poverty amplifies.

Then bam, they pass the poverty to the next generation. The cycle continues.

Poverty is a killer as it is a downward spiral de.
