isn't stocks/ shares recorded as equity in coy balance sheet. but yea, record as asset in our investment portfolio.


anyway ts, show us how you physically stay in stocks/ shares... it's a record of ownership...

Lol i dont get the message in your question.
Some buy house for shelter,
Some buy property for investment, but how u finance it will define whether its an asset or liability.
Maybe u need to read up more, for a good start will be "rich dad poor dad", this book will enlighten u on how to identify the differences

For investors, stocks/shares are assets (investment)

For issuer, stocks/shares are equity/liability

Weird question.

Kiyosaki says your home is not an asset.
Even your own home is not an liability for many. Ask many who sold HDB for $1 million or enbloc for $2-4 millions.
