Haswell parts will be more expensive than Ivy Bridge part.

If you don't mind paying higher price, can wait. If not, Ivy bridge products will be a good buy now and during the PC show.

That is what I heard as well. :o That's what tempted me to just get an Ivy Bridge laptop.

omg the dell latitude e7440 is so tempting!! :s12:

Agree. The weight is madness for a 14"

My bag could only accommodate 13.3" or smaller. . I will probably grab the 12.5" instead.

Iirc, Dell Latitude is always tag at a higher end in terms of cost :(

geting a haswell ultraportable, better battery life of at least 10 hrs and less than 1.5kg is great. My old trusty fujitsu t4010 is getting slow.

Have no faith in HP products. Worst than Acer. Cant even fix my notebook after 2 months. Gave up waiting, fought long for a refund but only willing to compensate whats worst than I sell it off on HWZ.

Seems like we are on the same boat man. HP has been on my black list for a number of years now. 2 laptops I had with them, all had to be sent for servicing like 2 to 3 times. Screen, dead mobo and overheating issue. Observed others around me having issues with them too. So I striked them off my list and never looked back. Haha.

i was hoping for June but apparently not. :(

I thought there will be some laptops with Haswell during the launch month, which is just a week away. Already PC Dreams is already bringing in the MSI gaming laptop for the month of June. Though I think the choices will be limited at the start.
