Haswell parts will be more expensive than Ivy Bridge part.
If you don't mind paying higher price, can wait. If not, Ivy bridge products will be a good buy now and during the PC show.
That's what tempted me to just get an Ivy Bridge laptop.HP unveils new Haswell-powered Pavilion, Envy laptops | IT Business, wonder when will it be coming to SG! So tempting to get Haswell processor notebooks... hmmm.....

Agree. The weight is madness for a 14"
My bag could only accommodate 13.3" or smaller. . I will probably grab the 12.5" instead.
Iirc, Dell Latitude is always tag at a higher end in terms of cost![]()
Saw somewhere online in other forum that they are gonna be released in july-september period.... Emo already![]()
i was hoping for June but apparently not.![]()

Have no faith in HP products. Worst than Acer. Cant even fix my notebook after 2 months. Gave up waiting, fought long for a refund but only willing to compensate whats worst than I sell it off on HWZ.
Seems like we are on the same boat man. HP has been on my black list for a number of years now. 2 laptops I had with them, all had to be sent for servicing like 2 to 3 times. Screen, dead mobo and overheating issue. Observed others around me having issues with them too. So I striked them off my list and never looked back. Haha.

I thought there will be some laptops with Haswell during the launch month, which is just a week away. Already PC Dreams is already bringing in the MSI gaming laptop for the month of June. Though I think the choices will be limited at the start.
