Haha. How to find a non air conditioned gym bro. Not that I heard of in my area though.

sweating is just the body's way of losing heat. in an air conditioned environment, you will sweat less. under sg scorching sun you will sweat more to lose heat, because you cannot lose through radiation and conduction.

in short; sweat doesn't dictate intensity of exercise/fat 'burnt'

WEIGHT loss is more on CALORIES IN (what you eat) vs CALORIES OUT (the work you do)

FAT loss is more complicated. diet playing a big part.

Bench 50 x 4 x 5 + 1x 4(+1)
Assisted pull up 70lbs x 3 x 10

Hahaha, if you continue training, you can look forward to be able to lift that amount of weight in a few years.

But honestly, the weight plates in your gym are far from optimal. i think the 20kg plates are around 18kg or less judging from their condition. Very difficult to track.

Haha. Never really set a goal, just wanna be able to add maybe 2.5 each side every session! Hahaha. Take care mate.

Haha, yeah. Since I'm still able to get the student price for club fitt, no choice but to make do first. Probably find a gym after I turn 19 that has proper equipmen/weights.

Bench press 50x5x5
Ohp was messy
Bent over row 60 x 5 x 5
Some other accessories like db fly, seated cable rows.

Any ways to improve on Ohp?
Will doing shoulder press using db on non-Ohp days help?

Loaded with 35
Did 2 sets of 5x5
Third set after 3 rep, totally can't any more.
Deload to 33
Died after 1set
Deload to 29
Finished 2 sets of 5rep
Looked back your previous posting the last time u did 5x5 without changing weight was 33.5 end may I think. Then when u start to increase to 35 u start saying messy as in u keep reducing the weight. I am not too sure if that call deload. To what I know deload is a plan action to give your muscle a break like stop gym for a week do something else like swimming. It can also mean instead of doing 5 sets do lesser set but slightly heavier weights.

One thing I notice because u start with 35 and u cannot complete 5 sets with that weight. Why not go back to 33.5 see If u can do 5 sets again. If can next time starts with 33.5 for say 3 sets then try 35 for then next 2 sets.

Hi, thanks for clarifying the "deload" part. My bad, not sure of the various jargon yet. haha.

All right, I'll take your advice and try it the next time I hit the gym!

Thanks once again!

No worries I am no expert yet also learning. But stop gymming for a while hope to restart again. I take it as a extended deload ha ha. Maybe I should start a workout thread too but I do not seems to be able to follow a program religiously.

Sucks not being able to wear white colored top, my boobs will protrude like a women not wearing bra.

Wanted to hit the gym to push myself further but rotator cuff hurts.

Squats 90 x 5 x 5
DL 80 x 1 x 5
Bench press 55 x 5 x 5

I think I will stick with 90 for squats the next few sessions. Panting hard, and I presume form wasn't quite optimum. Hardest thus far. Not giving up.

I think I found my doppelgänger. loll

anyways, I found it REALLY difficult to progress on my OHP. as well. deloading wouldn't help much as I was stuck at 37.5. going to 3x5 and having that full 2 to 3 mins of rest in btwn will really help your OHP. give it a shot!

Hi!

Actually I just tried this technique today! Yes it works!

Usually @ the gym i always go, the rack has to be shared by a couple of people, when one finish, the other one goes in. Always didn't have enough rest time and it reaches my turn, don't wanna stop the rest from using the rack for other purposes also.

Went to another gym today and the rack was empty, so I could take my own sweet time to do ohp. Took about 2-3mins rest between sets, managed to do without struggling as bad.

OHP is really hard to progress!
