Hmm... this is good stuff. PG is the specific location where the abalone is caught in Mexico. A = the more premium blue abalone found in deeper waters while 11 means 1 whole abalone + 1 cut piece to make up the drained weight of 255g. Where did you see this and how much are they selling it for?

Paiseh... now that you quoted then I spotted a typo error... The "A" code in AXX should be the more premium yellow abalone found in deeper waters. Those with the code "Z" e.g. Z11 are the blue abalones from waters not as deep...

the glod label abalone is reserve for the very rare, they live in the sea for over 15 yers.prestigious n flavorful. 1 pc per can. dw 218gm

black label abalone found in 7 to 60m deep water, a yellow abalone, smaller than blue abalone.

red label is blue abalone. found in 3 to 7m deep water. taste mild n smooth. dw 255gm

just a quick question, getting abalone, pac clams, shrooms, dried scallops at fu lu shou complex is the same as going to kallang right?

Every year i get a few cans from a relative to sell for a discount price, somehow oddly, all get snapped up very fast except the one last can.

This is strange cos I was told this year prices won't be as high due to restrained demand from China.
