california mexico

Anyone know where to buy California Mexico? Cold Storage still have it?

good day sire!

NTUC (the bigger outlets) are carrying some stock of both the red & black label ones...I think online also have, and possibly cheaper if you know how to maximize usage of coupons :)

Try California Mexico Gold (bigger, usually less than one piece per can) or Black. They cost less and the abalones are of comparable quality. You may not be able to tell the difference if you do a blind taste testing. Try it! I switched from Calmex to this brand for many years already. All other brands of Mexico abalones I've tried cannot compare (except Calmex, of course) :s13:

what is the pricing like?

Alamak! Forget about it.

But this case cannot close one eye?

Sellers can always post them in Marketplace mah. If I allowed this time, then others would also do the same and then Makan Zone will be flooded with sales threads/posts.

Need some help form the experts here. I have came across Calmex with paper printed labels and without those red chops on the can top. Are they real or fakes? Or 水货?

Boss, do you have any idea about Calmex LRA21-11F5 is how many pieces?

Thanks!

21 in the code after first three alphabets means 2 whole pieces plus 1 cut piece. The third alphabet is either A (Yellow abalones that are usually smaller but from deeper waters >7m) or Z (Blue abalones that are slightly bigger but from depth of 3-7m). A is considered the more premium of the two but really up to individuals' preferences. Prices for Calmex usually higher for A than Z and lesser the no. of pieces better.
