My S100 seem to have a smudge at the same spot of every image.. I suspect it's some dust or dirt that is embedded on the sensor itself as the lens seems to be clean. This smudge is relatively significant and it bothers me, and my camera is still under warranty, do you think I can get a free sensor cleaning or something? Here's some example of the smudges

go Alan photo to get the SteinZeiser brand ones bah. cheap cheap. Harvey norman sells same thing but more expensive.

Daiso screen protectors cannot make it. Scotch tapes are tougher than those!

For those who purchased the S100 recently, what casing did you guys get?

Mine stated casing for PS230 and it looks like some cheap black Velcro casing.

Sad, i think i tio chopped.. bargained and bought the silly SteinZeiser Professional LCD Camera Screen Protector at $10.. later went Harvey Norman $9.... Alan photo shop must be $5 or something =/

Harvey Norman selling the Black hard case at $19 though... Wonder if other places sells it cheaper.

Checked out the above website but under their terms & conditions, they stated tt "Product Warranty is not included".

Does this mean tt we'll be unable to bring it to canon service centre for repair since we dun have the product warranty?

Else wise, the price of 587SGD is tempting.

Just saw this offer on amazon.com. Amazon.com: Canon PowerShot S100 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide-Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Black): Camera & Photo
Its selling s100 for 363.90usd which works out to be around 480++.

Seems very worth it to buy on amazon, however just wondering for the warranty is it internationally recognise?
Any experts here forsee that the price of s100 will drop to ard 500 in the near future
