can i confirm to link a mastercard to capitastar app to auto earn poins after july, means just go to profile top left icon, click on Payment Methods and add your cards there correct ?

Does it mean only Mastercard can earn capitastar points ? visa/amex no longer earn points ?

Another question is, if I link the same Mastercard to me and spouse Capstar app, when payment is made using this card, who gets the points? Or is it even possible to link the same cards to different app accounts?

Have u tried linking same card to different star accounts? Maybe cannot use the same card, like Shopback app.

Co-brand with AMEX ended, so a new Mastercard tie-up comes along ....

If you noticed, past one year or so, there has been promos such that if you buy eVoucher top-up of $100, you get $10 more only when using Mastecard ..... there is actually one such promo ongoing .....

I saw the promo one day after they posted. I think it's risky as it's only first xxx and no rebate for credit card so I rather give it a miss.

Meanwhile, I have load up $100 eVoucher for the current promo "Get $10 eCaptaVoucher with Mastercard" .... so got loaded with $110 eVoucher with $100 ...

Not sure how the new Capitastar App rewards going to work. From what I read, other than eVoucher, DBS Paylah, etc. is that only using Mastercard linked to the app will get the points. Does it mean VISA card not accepted or no points?

Based on my interpretation of the changes, you are correct.

VISA is "dead" for Capitaland malls.

This is kinda lame..so those older folks pay at stores in capital land malls using cash or any other payment get no points? those that refuse to link their Mastercard to the app can’t benefit at all.
Time to stop shopping from there then fortunately since nothing much except groceries

Did you actually read what has changed? Likely has no impact to majority of the users, just have to link it to Paylah or ShopBack, if you're not using a MC.

They are doing away with the very arcane way of scanning receipts to identify transactions. Besides, the smart money are those that buy vouchers during the promotion peirod to stretch their dollar further.

I think if using Visa card, the only way is to link the Visa card to shopback. Please correct me if I am wrong, or there is a better way out there. Thanks!
