According to the aviva site, the aviva bank account is currently UOB. But, the cardup site is still showing the recipient account as DBS. When I tried to ask cardup regarding this, I was told that aviva wants cardup to continue transferring funds to their DBS account. TBH, this sounds quite dodgy to me. Anyone successfully paid for an aviva policy premium recently? TIA.

Dun see any reason Cardup will give you a false reply. Probably still can pay Aviva via their DBS account during this transition period.

I dont see a reason also. At the same time, I can't think of a reason why aviva would prefer cardup to continue paying to the DBS account that they have moved away from.

Probably easier for Aviva to trace which all transfer in the DBS account are from CardUp.

Cardup usually next business day.
Amex has the least exclusion list already, should not (but I have not tried).

Update, Ipaymy replied to me that they will amend the MCC to 7399 for rentals prior to Mar deadline for UOB One card. Very nice gesture from them to do this so that we can continue to use them to earn rebates.
