Can Cardup pay car loan from Hong Leong Finance?

If yes any bro please advise bank name and bank account number to set up in Cardup portal? When I tried to add Hong Leong finance as a supplier it requires those info.
Thanks!

are you talking about credit card rebate ($50/$100/$200) or bonus interest for One account? they are two different things.

if you're talking about card rebate, note that prudential insurance is not counted. but I think paying income tax via cardup is (need someone else to confirm). and telco bills are considered.

so if you want to include the prudential insurance as card rebate min. spent, you need to use cardup to pay for it. then it'll be counted.

Hi there,
I am referring to credit card rebate ($50/$100)
Can I confirm if I tie cardup to Prudential insurance it will be counted?

Hi Maumu,

As in you have paid your prudential insurance with UOB One credit card through cardup and you have received the UOB one cash rebate at the end of your quarter? ($50/$100/ $300)

It is stated that cannot use CardUp to pay for Hong Leong Finance car loan.

"Please note we are unable to support car loan payments issued by DBS, Maybank, UOB, OCBC, Hong Leong Finance and Tokyo Century Leasing at the moment."

yes I did. have received the $100 rebate for the Feb - Apr quarter. CSO has also previously confirmed the cardup transaction is eligible for card rebate. by the way i'm using the promo code GET225 (i.e. 2.25% fees).

I can confirm that using BOC Elite Miles card to pay Prudential and TM insurance through CardUp earns you the miles and also qualifies for your credit card spend for BOC Smart Saver Plan (1.6% P.A. bonus interest on $60,000 with $1500 spend)

if u're like me, paying prudential monthly premium using cardup to charge UOB, it should be fine to go ahead, then when the amount is posted, call the CSO to confirm that it's counted.

I think some people are using some other promo code which is even lower (1.9 or 1.99, something like that) and these aren't eligible for card rebate. idk why... seems like it's at the bank's mercy? the MCC would be different.

Sorry pushing up an old post while i was searching for AXA on cardup.
Anyone used this recently? Hopefully still valid as i have an upcoming AXA premium. TIA :)

I've contacted CardUp.

Payment to AXA Insurance is allowed.

I have received from my agent that AXA bank details (payment details are):
Bank: DBS BANK
Account Number: 0039218095

I have scheduled a payment.

BOC has recently announced that insurance payments including those made through cardup will be excluded from earning miles from 15 June onwards.

"AIA Insurance, AIG, AVIVA, AXA, Great Eastern, Manulife, MSIG insurance, NTUC Income, Prudential, QBE Insurance, Sompo Insurance, TM life insurance, CardUp (for insurance payments)"

Also they are reducing their earn rates from 1.5 mpd to 1 mpd for local spend.

Last month my Cardup payment for income tax was rejected because Cardup did not allow me to pay only a portion of my income tax. They want me to pay for the whole year and it is not worthy for a rebate card. They said this is their new policy.

This is the new TnC

https://bit.ly/2yPNMWn

The new 1.0 mpd earn rate is on page 1 and the insurance exclusion (including via cardup) is on page 5.

Important note: The 1.0 mpd earn rate is now achieved by devaluing BOC Points against KF miles. Hence, ALL the points you have previously earned will become devalued, e.g. your 45,000 BOC points previously worth 15,000 miles will become worth only 10,000 miles come June.

Hence you should convert the points to miles asap. Many people are already cutting this card away over this devaluation and new exclusions.

Do you happen to know if other BOC cards are affected?

Managed to pay partial with ipaymy but I guess that might end soon cause I have read that IRAS frowns upon partial payments.
