UOB One gives you 5% for $2k spend. It would be suitable for your rent amount (+4 more tiny transactions).

Someone here said rent has a different MCC and UOB wont give any cashback. After that I didnt even try. Not worth the hassle and the worry, because we wont know until the whole qtr is over.

That someone would be me. I believe the consensus here was that personal rent qualifies, but business rent does not. You can also check by asking for the MCC code, no need to wait for quarter to be over. MCC 6513 will not qualify.

can understand the dilemma. if clock in with the card and turns out doesn't qualify, the $2k could generate rebate say using absolute cashback @ 1.7% (which isn't shabby at $34).

I did it for GE. Multiple payments over 2 mths. Partial payments goes to a suspense account. When fully paid, it then shows as paid.

Not sure about other insurers.

ya coz someone was sharing on 5% from ONE card above, i think ipaymy also expanding into mortgage payment but not sure if its easy to do reconciliation
