for income tax payment, do i need to change the payment amount everytime my payment plan is revised?
e.g. July when the actual tax is assessed, April when there are usually decimal difference.

Or is it all auto like GIRO?

AND i read CardUp instruction that we sld not close existing GIRO arrangement even after setting up Cardup payment. Wouldnt we pay twice this way (once from exiting GIRO and once from cardup)?

You need to make sure payment from cardup reach IRAS before GIRO trigger, 1 week lead time is OK. You need to setup manually.

Hi all, for those who use cardup to pay your rent, do u know what is the MCC? Send email to ask them, but they answered all my other question except for this. Anyone is using SCB Manhattan card for rent payment using pomo code recently? Do u get the full 3% rebate?

Hi guys,
can anyone assist to confirm - if CardUp to pay Car Loan or Income Tax are still counted towards UOB One card rebate?
Am currently on the last qtr which gives 5%, and running out of spending , so thought might as well use Cardup for next 2 mths to get that final $300.
Have not used Cardup since 2018 😅
TIA

Thanks Trazora.

i am guessing for car loan, it should also qualify ?
UOB probably just see CardUp, and not know what they pay to or for, I assume .
Anyone can confirm ? I mean, for the loan, it will be more helpful than the tax due to the monthly amount .
Thanks again

BOC family still rewards rebates on CardUp. Other cards you can use include Maybank platinum visa, BOC family, Standard Chartered MANHATTAN World Mastercard Card

after deducting the fees paid to cardup... how much % rebate/cashback is there left actually? also considering that there are caps and conditions (e.g. categories) involved... I can't see how it's worth using cardup or ipaymy anymore...

Had been paying for mortgage using cardup for the last 6 months, quite easy to set up. As what hwz_zx had mentioned, there are 2 methods to pay your mortgage, use the 2nd method and there is actually no change required at the bank's end.
What’s the 2nd method?

Is it cardup pay to your bank loan debiting account (machiam you have cash advance?) And then GIRO payment to your loan account as per before?

If so this would also answer my next Q of allocating cardup to pay just max amount I can earn on Cashback(lower cardup fee as well). GIRO still deducts the full monthly mortgage from existing account.

Based on my checks, presumably the highest cashback card is the Maybank platinum Visa one, am I right?
3.33% - 2.6%

People said there's a cap... something like good for only around $417 of payment. That doesn't even cover my income tax and it's a hassle to do multiple arrangements and get a new card just to earn a miserly $25. Unless you're a big spender on other categories... can check our the full details of the card.

For me I won't be bothered.
